If my ship ever comes in, I'd like to turn it into a custom Fiero. This body kit from Archie is my favorite ... I could see this with a nice engine swap. Please post some pix of your car so I can see different colors, wheels, etc. How hard was this kit to do? Are those clam shell doors?
Thanks for the links, Danyel. Holy smokes! I can't believe the amount of work that went into that GT40 replica, sporting the new LS3 crate engine plus a Supercharger!! Custom frame, etc. 'Don't try this at home ...'
Hey Archie, please design an actual 'kit' for just the body, leaving the drive train intact (for the usual swaps). Now I remember when I was a kid back in the 60s I had a slot track car that was a GT40 ... that was my favorite slot car.
The ASPP gt40 was available in mostly bolt on construction in MK1 and MK2 body styles but the owner passed away some time ago and the moulds are who knows where .There is a beautiful Gulf liveried MK1 with ASPP body on here somewhere if you do a search .Archies kit is a good one , all GT40 kits are usually full custom builds .And a lot of money .Check out ERA if they are still around .
At this late stage in the game it appears that most if not all Fiero kit car manufacturers are gone and those that still exist have shifted focus. I would venture to say that even many of the factory built kit cars like the odd Zimmer Quicksilver and Mera have been accounted for.

If you like this kit then you should be in a Ford forum as should Ferrari kit owners
Whatever, Dude...Why do you have to be that way?? Mine may look Ferrari, but's it all (well mostly) Fiero.
Archie put an extreme effort into building that car. It's amazing. If you are satisfied with less "replica", there were bolt on kits that required less work.
