First,I spent much more than I should have . I have more than $100,000 spent on this car ,which has the paint changed from black to a metallic blue,383 inch (stroked 350 ) ,AFR heads (everything new) ,Superram intake with a new throttle body,85 pound injectors,turbo (new),stainless exhaust(custom made),2 bus cat.converters,and much,much more .I almost forgot,this car is an 87GT with an 88 powertray,and it has power steering.I'm 76 years old and want to sell this car,call me for a good(to you) price and a more complete list of what the car has.My phone number is 856-784-8450.
In 2014 I spent $9,000Cdn (now, about $6,419US) for an 88 CJB GT with 25,210 documented miles. Perfect shape, fully loaded including leather. I've got original bill of sale etc.
In 06 I paid $3100. for an 86 GT, auto, t-top that was overall an 8 out of 10. It was totaled in early 09 and insurance paid me $5000 plus let me keep the car for $300.00 buy back. I turned around and gave $3500 for my present 88 GT....it was nowhere near as nice exterior wise, but had an immaculate interior, solid roof, wingless, and included an NIB, NOS quarter window.
