I would pick Delorean, Mera, Fiero - if going by value.

Personal preference without factoring value.. Fiero, Delorean, Mera.

All great inputs and views. Amazing how all our tastes and thought processes differ slightly but similar solutions are reached.

For me it's: Fiero, Mera, Delorean.

Just not a big fan of the Delorean.

Normally, I would go Mera, Fiero, Delorean. Unless of course the Delorean in question has an LS1 swap and then it would be first...

Lets just say stock, stock, and stock. Let's throw another factoid in it: Cost. I will use mine for comparo differences.

Fiero $4k 84 Indy with 56k miles
MERA $12k 88 with 70k miles
Delorean $38k with 14k miles

All are original

Looks like our little car might be starting to get some of the recognition it deserves:

Was your DeLorean an 81 or 82? 81, right? That's a DMC-9 or DMC-12?

For cost, how much to maintain? The Mera and Fiero should be about the same, but a left fender could cost $2500 for a DeLorean.

You have me looking for a good Indy. I've heard that the V6 manual tranny is the way to fix that first gear issue.

Sorry, my Delorean is an 81. Costs about the same in upkeep as my Indy which is not that much. They are actually pretty reliable to drive.

Out of curiosity, I wonder how it would perform with an LS1 in it?

They look cool to drive. I saw a painted one, the other day. Looked like it was painted red using a rag. Globs and streaks. Maybe it's hard to paint stainless steel.
