You know steve its prolly good we didn't meet up saturday! I probably would have talked your ear off worse than I did dennis lol. I still can't believe I got to see a mera up close and personal, what a thrill that was. I still want to know how you fit that tent in there lol. I thought it was one of the gto guys tents or something.
Seriously are they paying for it at the scrap yard? because I have a trailer and room to keep the car for a while. I could hang on to it for others to pick off of for a while if you are just going to throw it away..
On that note, anybody know where I can score a Drivers side fender? and maybe a aero facia?
2 weeks ago I was at the Hawkin's Point Crazy Ray's there was a red 85 2m6 that I got a driver's door skin off of. $16.00. The driver's front fender was still there. The right side of the car was beat up pretty bad. 3 weeks ago I was at the Erdman av. Crazy Rays. There were 2 black SEs one 84 and one 87. Most of the body stuff was still there. Both interiors were raided. Shame, the 87 didn't look like it had much frame cancer. I will be going to the Hawkin's Point site tomorrow. I'll report if the 85 is still there. This will be the first time in about 7 months that I had 2 days or more off together. Last time I made that endurance run to Atmore Al. One day down. (fuel and pee stops only) One day there. And one day straight back. Just over 1200 miles each way.
I'm going to the yard to get another upper intake for my wife's Lumina. Pulled the lower to take care of the typical leaking corners. Unknowingly had a piece of gasket setting wrong,(map sensor wire pushed the gasket up) tightened up, and heard a tiny click. Cracked between 3 and 5 runner
took my 88 to capitol lastnight (just to watch not run), got more looks then some of the ALOT better cars.... makes me smile that the fiero is still loved like that.
For you guys in the city of Baltimore, how much do you generally pay for storage? We're looking to move to the port area downtown, & the car (as you know) always needs work. So I'm not sure how to handle that situation. Our current condo association doesn't like me always working on the car, but since it ins't major repair, it isn't against the condo association rules.
So I'm moving to Baltimore Friday. Not bringing the car with me yet until I can find a place for storage & figure out how I'm going to work on it there.
& while I'm in town I'll get me some strange... *rolls eyes* lolz

My sincere condolences. I'm trying to get out of here. Our governor Owe Malley and the rest of his zombies will great you with a lovely care package labeled "TAXES, FEES & RESTRICTIONS"

Welcome to Baltimore. The crab cakes are great but you might want to hold off on sampling the strange here. Lol!

We're moving to Mount Vernon, going to be working right on the harbor.
decent area, bout 30min give or take from where I am, maybe we can get a good fiero warm (cold) welcome, there hasn't been a local MD meetup in a few years.
Any recommendations for car storage? I'm leaving my car in Ohio for now, as I'm not sure about storage. I'm certainly not leaving it on the street in downtown!
Plus I'd like to fly back here to continue working on it with friends. Still a long list of items to work on. & if all goes well with selling my business, I should have an immediately available Fiero fund
That being said however, I'd totally be down for any type of a Fiero group meetup or meetings.
F.I.E.R.O AKA freezing in every random orifice was a somewhat successful winter gathering for VA and MD and some PA FIERO owners and was held in the February/ March time frame. 1st one was held at Arundel Mills Mall - We met in the parking lot and then those who stayed later tried to get into Dave and Busters but ended up at another place. The 2nd one I attended was hosted by SAXMAN and he got us onto the local Air Force base for full contact bowling. Both were COLD but the roads were dry - We had about a dozen at each meet. SAXMAN has retired and moved to Florida and the MD FIERO seen has never been the same.

I was at the 2nd one, that was a cold cold cold day. bowling was fun tho, this is Baltimore, I say duckpin bowling, anyone else love that?
Hey I'm here....after nearly 10 years of being Fiero-less I finally do own a Fiero again. It's in the garage and not going anywhere relatively soon. Big thanks to Robb (amflyer) for towing it to my house. In the process of cleaning it up, then fuel pump. Hopefully that's the biggest issue. Who's up for a fuel pump tech session? I'll supply the food and beer!
Hey my Fiero IS my winter car! My S2000 tends to get stuck in freak snowstorms!
Mine is my daily driver too. I rarely see another one on the road in my area. Last time I saw a fellow Fiero owner on the road and I was in my Fiero I had to chase him down and make contact. He turned out to be Pennocks member from Pa.
Mine is the fugly red with silver bumpers 85GT. I hit all the trouble spots on mine this summer where rust could get worse. Good cover of spray paint where the OE coatings were coming off. Will be PORing it this summer. Minor rust. It's a daily driver, but less than 1200 a year. 2 weeks ago I was looking for good donut parking lots again. The Eastern High school lot(now Hopkins)(flat/wideopen) was chained off. Yesterday was going and coming from Joppa road/Perry Hall via Perring Parkway, but not on Towson bypass. It's behind where I work at 5 days a week. Then again I work less than 10 blocks from where I live. About 4 weeks ago me and someone else(looked to be around an 86) were even up I83 until the Beltway, then we split up. He had Pa tags.
Hey im located in western md. anyone know where I can find a gt rear bumper around here? Im not having any luck
Are you looking for a '85 GT rear bumper (I know where a silver one is) or is it for a '87GT I know where a burgundy one is...maybe silver, heck I don't remember which color for sure.
For what it's worth -- There is a Cars & Coffee held at the Annapolis Harbor on Sunday Mornings. Our small group here in VA meets at an already scheduled C&C each month at Rosner Motorsports in Fredericksburg and I attend the Kohls C&C in Fairfax almost every Sunday (150-200 cars!). Why don't you plan a get together at the Annapolis event? It's fun to rub elbows and talk shop with owner of Ferrari, Lambo's and other high dollar cars. Our cars do get a lot of talk - Just google cars and coffee Annapolis --- Hell I might even drive up.
Wow the Nationwide race just started - Looks like everybody dressed up in an empty seat outfit !!!!

Yellow or bright orange? I'm in that area a decent amount, take my 88, its painted lambo orange
I think it was yellow, but my yes do play tricks on me from time to time. I was heading toward Joppa Rd on Perring Parkway heading the opposite direction. I still blew my anyway. It always makes me smile when I see another one on the road.

sounds like it might be me going to microcenter :P
Fredericker's, anyone on here have a red '88 Formula? I've seen it at Mr. Tire on 40, and the auto tranny shop on East Street. A week or so ago I passed it on 40 again. Who are ya?
