Nice pic-- but a truck application - 4" pipe diesel application - don't think it will work on a fiero -- still holding out for a pic of a fiero fit finished pipe before the end of the current year.
If they make it in 4", you can bet it's available in smaller dimensions. Call.

What the hell does that have to do with anthing? That thread is months old now and old news so why bother bringing it up? I dont take money unless the product is ready to ship and/or in the mail already, smearing mud all over my name while trying to produce a product that obviously not many people have made in the past is a waste of yours, mine and others time. That matter is settled already and forgive me for not responding to a post i am not subscribed to and for another i very rarely venture into GFC except to check our local club page and im subscribed to that and just hyperlink to the page from email.
I do need to remember to hit that button though so i DO get the emial reminders of my own threads XD

What that has to do with this is it shows a character trait. I'm not making anything up, you ADMITTED that you basically stole someone's property through deception (promising to pay the renegging on that promise). You then attempted to smear the seller's name and didn't take responsibility for your own debt to that person, even though the forum as a whole advised you to do so. You STILL haven't responded to what Driven posted, which had a completely different version than what you accused him of, and you're selling parts instead of showing that you made good on one of your other transactions. Did you pay him? If not, you have a lot of nerve continuing to do business on the forum. You made this everyone's business, now show that your business is worth people's trust. I'm trying to stop people from wasting their money, so I honestly don't care if it's a small waste of my time.
**EDIT** Oh, and since when is a thread started 11-15-10 by you admitting you took someone's property without paying for it ancient history? MONTHS old? Try one month old. Your excuse for not posting in the thread to let us know you paid him like you should was about as thin as my kids' excuse for why they didn't do their homework on any given day.

Ramses, you should go into that thread and post what you did to settle the situation. you might not think its a big deal that you didnt update it.. but apparently alot of other people do. so just get it over with

I'm going to build my own. 3-90's 2", and a straight piece. I'll let you all know how it goes. Can't be done for $25 though. I have a friend who literally can make anything that's doing it for me. He modded my intake via "Dawg" and it works great.

Here's an answer to whether or not he resolved the issue.... I wouldn't do business with someone who steals from other people, turns around and makes a profit off of it, then thinks it's ok as long as he fraudulently blames the seller for misleading him. Sorry Ramses, but you have no right to try to do business on this forum in my opinion.

To answer your inquiry as best I can, I have received neither money nor contact of any kind. Sure some sort of communication to give closure to the issue would be nice, but I have pretty much given up on this whole situation. It's unfortunate that it had to come to this, but that's life sometimes.

The evidence is pretty straight forward. Ramses admitted he didn't pay for the engine, and even stopped posting when Driven5 came in with his side of things. In reading the for sale ad of the engine in question, there was no mention anywhere that the engine was being sold as rebuilt or in better condition like Ramses claimed. Basically put Ramses was asking for permission to not pay for something he was already reselling, and provided no evidence that Driven5 ever did anything wrong (in our legal system you have to provide evidence that someone wronged you, not say they have to prove that they didn't). When he was called out on it, he ignored his own thread, then claimed it was ancient history and he had resolved the issue already, which were both lies.

He's the only person who thought it was settled and he thinks that deciding he's not going to pay makes it so.
Call me an ass-hole all you want, that doesn't change the FACT that he's trying to do business on here after HE ADMITTED he stole from someone. I'll tell you what, you send him some money and let us know how it turns out. Sound good to you?

I fully agree with second chances, if the person takes responsibility for their mistake and tries to make amends for it. I don't see anything here that suggests Ramses realizes he's in the wrong, and he sure isn't trying to make amends to the person he wronged.

I talked with Ramsespride this morning. Due to some recent run-ins with other PFF members he no longer feels welcome on the forum. He will not be making these Y-pipes and he will no longer be active on PFF. He said I could post some sort of message here if I wanted to. I thought that the guys interested in his idea deserved some sort of explanation as to why they will never see an end product.
The whole thing seemed too good to be true from the start. I gave up on him not long after he posted this and long before any other info was added to the thread. Now that he's going to "take his football and go home" just shows immaturity and adds to the feeling that it was never going to be. If he wants to act that way....... whatever.
I was starting to get skeptical about this after he stated he already had 3 made but was waiting until he had 5 ready to go…. but would NOT post pictures of them. I was hoping I was wrong but it sure smelled of
Then after RE-reading the thread about the motor (which I posted in before this ever started)

I pretty much gave up on him and am going to just try to make my own. How hard can it be and if it’s harder than I think, it can’t be more than $10-$20 worth of pipe. Not much to loose

I read about people having money problems and then see them come on the forum selling parts or making parts and it is very disturbing. There are a couple of threads about people who have taken hundreds of dollars, and then reply only after they have been hounded by phone and e-mail. They then come back with some crazy story, my dog died, or my girlfriend broke up with me.
The last thing I want to hear from someone I've given money for a service or part, is their personal life problems and a list of excuses, especially when they have my money. This is not acceptable business practice.
Sorry, not involved in this but just had to vent.

This is exactly what I was shooting for to be honest. I had him pegged as doing this, and wanted him to do it BEFORE he got anyone's money. I don't care if it earned me some negs. It's not like we have a quota we need to meet for bad sellers. If he was really serious about this, he would have just coughed up the lousy $75 to save face. Immaturity is an understatement.
*EDIT* added "them" after re-reading this.....i got no beef with the Ramses......this is for all the bad transactions as of late!!! whats up with that??
too bad we never got a chance to play "Trust Is A Two Way Streak".....set him/them up for a little payback.....if warranted
get him/them on "A Money Tree Limb" to show a "new" beginning, a second chance if you will.......get back the money owed to the members that were slighted, in product first, then cut the bloody branch.....laughing as he hits the ground screaming. THEN!! chop the whole tree down on his A$$!!! I guess i did earn my 3@6's
sorry, my beta-carroteen is low due to lack of sun. ohhhhh....there it is......ahhhhhh. BETTER!! as you were!

Originally posted by Raydar: It was called a "muffler eliminator" system. I believe that IRM sold them.
That system sounds like what IRM once called their "Dual Exhaust System" which they described this way:
"The Dual Exhaust System...eliminates the stock muffler and provides two chrome plated, resonator type exhaust tips....Installation is accomplished by cutting the stock exhaust pipe, at a point before it enters the stock muffler and bolting the dual exhaust system in place." --- Source: The Big Fiero Parts Book, 3rd edition, IRM page 14
Out of the three pieces in IRM's "Dual Exhaust System," a Y-pipe similar to the one being focused on in this thread was what actually replaced the muffler.

86soon3.4 and jetsnvettes2000, you may want to consider using for your upcoming product the name that Raydar thought he recalled: "Muffler Eliminator." Unlike the "Y-pipe" that it's been called by some, the "Muffler Eliminator" name seems a potentially less confusing, yet succinct and more explanatory descriptor of the purpose of the Y-pipe product you two plan to be working on --- especially since stock V6s Fieros already have an exhaust Y-pipe that serves a very different purpose than will your "Muffler Eliminator" when you eventually begin to produce it, right?

I have found that the Spintech muffler I installed on my stock 88 GT is loud enough to get the attention of anyone, including the police. It has such a lovely rumble that my Lotus and Corvette owning buddy thinks I am fast. I have had to explain my "stock" muffler replacement a few times to police who have commandeered my time for trivial issues like license plate lights or exiting a club after hours. My license plates like work and I don't drink when out, so the secondary conversation is always, "I think your car is too loud"..
Nice thing about the particular Spintech I am running is that it FITS in the stock location easy enough.
Now I don't know how loud you need to be, but I know that before I sold my duke with the hollow cat, it was louder, but sounded like crap. I have heard the drone that makes your head buzz after you get out of your car. Will make a movie and post it up since I have a fancy new portable TASCAM recorder to capture that robust exhaust note from my stock 2.8. I can't imagine how it would sound with more engine. Without a cat, I am sure I'd have to be more careful if I want to avoid any undue attention...

I had a Spintech on my 3.4l PR swap and it sounded AWESOME. A little loud, but not in a buzzy way, had a very nice deep tone you could feel in your chest without sounding obnoxious. I had people in gas stations ask me if I had a V8 on multiple occasions. I wish I knew the part no. for that muffler, but I do not. I highly recommend it if there's only one, though.

It is the 311SC. I have a dependable source. It was the only way to fix my damn rotted out stock muffler without breaking my budget into pieces and I didn't have to cut off a part of a Flowmaster like I have seen people do.
It does present a sweet note out of a Fiero's buttocks...

fI bought the cat delete pipe from the fiero store and m exhaust sounds like a million bucks now.
My 3.4 GT has a cat delete pipe and a performance muffler, and it sounds damn tasty too! Almost like music.... Not too loud that I get into trouble, but loud enough to overpower those damn ricers if I so choose.

Actually he was showing that Ramses is back to posting and still ignoring his transgressions with the forum. I don't see how he was in the wrong at all by pointing that out. Ramses still ripped another member off and tried to continue to do business here, only to cry about having issues with members and claim he was done here. He STILL hasn't addressed the person he screwed over, or the rest of the members about it.
