What makes you think that I'm not "popular"? And why is that so important to you? You seem to stress that word a lot, you must have been horribly bullied as a small child that you would find "popularity" to be the sole measure of a man. It is especially sad that you place such importance on the opinions of people you have not met, and will never meet. Besides the fact that I have nearly double the ratings that you do, so I would say that I'm at least twice as well known on this forum as you and your bitter little dossier of 12 year old threads.

The thread is about stress, and everyone who has posted has acknowledged that stress can "adversely" affect how or what a person posts.

Yes, Jeff can be a pita (so can all the rest of us and many of us frequently are) but it's probably pretty difficult to keep a sunny and amicable posting attitude 100% of the time when you live with a lot of pain every single day. I'm not making excuses for him, myself, or for anyone else, but I do try to bear that in mind.

Spring is a stressful time for everyone, not sure what the reason, I read it somewhere once. I think it has something to do with the seasons changing and the alignment of the planets or some other BS. But it makes those that are prone to have problems even worse. Todd with your job and what you are doing I can understand it, whatever you do don’t go off like that at one of those meetings. You could end up someplace without a computer and drooling from the Thorazine (SP) in a white jacket with real long sleeves and a padded room.

Everyone has times like that, hell some days I feel like yelling at everyone I meet. Most times I don’t, others I have lost it, the pain is so unbearable even when eating vicodin like M&M’s. Today I had one of those days but just went up into the shop and looked at what I had to do for projects around the farm and just ate some more vicodin, I think I have had 8 today and three beers, my weekly prescription from my heart doctor.

Stress has a way of setting people off and not in a good way, me I try to do something creative. I’m working on making a sign for the end of the driveway, something like this.



With a few minor changes, plus I have been working on a sheet metal bending brake. Things that used to take just a few hours now take me days to do because of the pain and memory problems. Hell I have to write everything out in word first then reread it twice before ever posting it and even then sometimes I screw up. Who am I kidding most times I screw up.

Please don’t go off in a meeting at the “company”, it might not be in your best interest. Besides I like having a friend with a job like yours, someday I just might need a favor.

Back on the subject,
We all have days like that, it just depends on how you deal with it as to how the rest of your day, or life ends up or ends, depending on what you do.

I have looked and looked for that thread over the last few weeks to no avail too. IIRC, That's the thread in which XB talked of his "powers of lesser magic", and I wanted to PM the link to someone not long ago.

Perhaps you didnt read Jeff's post the same way I did.. it was tough love and Tony certainly did not explain his post until an edit came later. I considered doing a little of the same myself. Even Tony eventually recognized that what Jeff said was not meant as an attack and could have been construed as a "goodbye" .. why can't you? Jeff reacted the same way i do to people who we think are threatening suicide.. call their bluff.

As far as my relationship goes with my friends, what would you know about that? Not much I would figure.. you have about as much knowledge about my life, loyalty or courage as Jeff does. I've been wondering why you decided to jump all over me in this thread. It probably has very little to do with Jeff and I.
