I've noticed that with all of the sudden posts about people flipping out, it's occured to me that this seems to be a pretty stressful time of the year. Either that, or the state of the current economy, along with this being the beginning of the year seems to have put a lot of people under an inordinate amount of stress.
I normally think of myself as pretty even-keeled... I don't typically flip out, but I have been under a lot of stress lately. I started a new job about 8 months ago, and while the hours have been decent, I'm also back to getting a masters (for some stupid reason) and it just seems like I'm not getting the rest I should, no matter how hard I try. I find myself sometimes sitting in meetings, where everyone is being serious... and I want to just flip our and scream. Sometimes I run through this scenario in my head, and then of course, the weird reactions from everyone after I've just flipped out, and that quickly makes me realize that it probably wouldn't be a good idea (so I don't flip out... hah). But damn...
So how has everyone else been this past year... is it just me and a few others, or is everyone else feeling really stressed out... is it just this time of year, is it the economy? Are things generally going well for others... what is it?

I`m doing great. Sorry to rub it in. 1: Kid`s are healthy 1-1/2: Job`s going great 2: Driving the Fiero almost every day. 3: Don`t have a significant other that I have to ask if I can spend money on the Fiero. 4: Band has gigs lined up. 5: Fiero club members getting together at least once a week. 6: Weather`s been fairly decent. 7: Spring Fling next weekend. 8: Round-up next month. Ok I`ll stop now. I guess you can see the Fiero is a big part of my life. Mike
edit: Oh one more thing, my products are selling pretty well. edit, edit I got lost there for a moment, I put the top priority at number 1 and moved number 1 to number 2

It's going really bad here. The stress levels are extremely high.
I would love to vent, go on a rant and I'd probably feel better, but two trolls on here would twist everything I say and later use it against me. So I'm venting elsewhere, spending more time on other forums. Basically yea, high stress, bad times.

Let me guess, Nick and Steve, right? They have some long memories. Although Patrick likes to dredge up some decade old stuff. Well, now you know why I don't post personal stuff any more.
Sorry that your life is stressful. Even though you are a bigot, I'm sure that for some people you are extremely important to them, and you mean the world.

I can't get over how much he thrives on interaction with the people he claims to have issues with. He probably couldn't get any harder if he took a bottle of Viagra right now, and just because someone he has issues with acknowledged his existence.
Let me give you a clue Stimpy. YOU are one of the reasons people stop posting on here. And not just me. You are a #$!#$ douche stain on society, and if you glance at the bar under your name many many people are tired of it.

Who do I have "issues" with? I don't have any issue with you, I really don't care about you. I was just trying to be nice. It appears that you seem to have an "issue" with a lot of people, people whom you don't even know. That is sad, and probably a large contributing factor in your stress. Maybe if you stop hating yourself, you will stop hating the world, and you might actually be happy.
I don't know if I'd cal it more stressful. It hasn't been all that hard thus far but I may be jinxing myself simply by saying that.
Every time I get too bitchy, something happens that reminds me of the "There but for the grace of God" saying and that puts a lot of stuff into perspective.
I'm on this side of the dirt and, by my measure anyway, that's a positive.

As said before, 2 people. You're number one! Not a single problem with anyone else on here. Isn't that amazing! I would relish every second of sitting down for coffee, or even a beer with anyone on this forum....Except you and one other guy. That doesn't seem strange to you? Oh, I would love to meet you in person, don't get me wrong there. I would be absolutely thrilled to meet up with you too! Don't worry man, I'm not a violent person, but then, you know me so well don't you? This guy you have never met, but antagonized constantly. This guy who you have absolutely no idea how he reacts, what he's capable of, or even how stable he is mentally, you antagonized that guy for over a year and the only thought in your head was that he was "in a flyover state" and you would never ever have a chance to meat him. It's always funny how people don't realize exactly how small our world is.

X2!
His "condition" is worsening. I too would sit with anyone here and share a beer. I don't drink, but I would enjoy a brewski with 99.9% of you. I really have only one here that dislikes me greatly. He proves it quite often. Even when I commented about his dogs. I remember him crying about how he is treated in that thread. I stepped up, gave advice, and later even sent out a heart felt reply on the hopes that Rascal is doing better. But that was sooooo last week ago. https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum6/HTML/092124.html
To everyone else.... We need to breathe more. Inhale. Exhale. While I can easily give good advice, it is myself that often does not heed that advice. This forum has made me a better, more caring person, and I thank you for that. I need to remember that more.

Stress off the scale here, but I just try to keep an even keel until I find a new job. My customers and co-workers are morons, one of them loves to pester the hell out of me hollering "Mike" every 10 seconds. I finally snapped at that on Wed and a hammer went flying and he got told one more time I was calling the cops and pressing harrasment charges, the customers seem to think I am at thier beck-and-call 24/7 and get pizzed when they dont get thier own way, I had one call 2 weeks ago and tell me if I wasnt there in 2 hours we were loosing the account....yeh, well I am over 4 hours away so eff him, and I am not the type you want to threaten. I am just tired of fighting and arguing with people who want the impossible.

So how did I antagonize you? All I know is that you are the guy that said 90% of Californians need to die. You could have retracted that statement at any time, but you would rather double down. But yet I antagonize you "constantly"? Poor baby.
So tell us, how unstable are you, mentally? Since I am supposed to be concerned. How Do you overreact? To my posts make you kick the dog and beat your wife out of insane anger? Or do you shake your head and move on? What are you capable of? Throwing a tantrum? Grow up, dude.
I know exactly what you would do if you and I wound up in the same place IRL. The same thing that every other keyboard badass has done when they saw me: not a goddamned thing.

So, I posted this because I could definitely tell that everyone has kind of been on edge lately, myself included. I usually don't go public with my problems, unless it's something I think that others might find interesting (to occupy their time while they're board), like my rant about that lady hitting my car, or whatever other crap I've bitched about (can't remember).
The thing is, things ARE going well for me, but it's just been really stressful, we go through our ups and downs. I'm living my dream, it's taken a lot more work than I thought it would be and I'm wondering if I'm not simply taking too much on right now. Plus, I gave up a lot of hobbies that I used to use to blow off steam (like working on cars, gardening, etc...)
I hope the best for all of you here, and I know how stressful stuff CAN get... it sucks... especially when you're in debt (been there a couple of times). It seems like all our problems tend to be related to either debt, or health. Best advice I give myself is to just always to look forward... I know how easy it can become to kind of fall into a trap of self wallowing.
That said, I still want to scream my head off in the middle of an important meeting... maybe when I'm going to retire, I'll just scream at the top of my lungs.
Anyway, I think now that the weather is starting to get nice again, I'm going to start exercising and maybe do that breathing stuff that Tony suggests.

I dislike you greatly? That is precious. I never started a thread to troll you. You have had some large bug up your ass about me for quite some time, for no particular reason. I personally do not care about you. You are a coward and an attention whore. You hate yourself, and I am a convenient target for you to project your self loathing on.
If you think you need some kind of recognition for trolling my thread about my sick dog, fine, here it is. 1, I had already made an appointment for the vet and did not need to be told to do that. It was insulting and completely unhelpful. And 2, you were the one who felt it critical to remind me that you don't like me in a thread about my sick dog. So THANKS for being condescending and hateful.

Patrick, I believe that you have gotten the wrong end of the stick here. You have been nothing but a friend to me, and I thank you publicly for that. (I said publicly, not pubicly. )
WD... I could not believe what you wrote to me? Even by your standards, that is quite low. I still wish the best for the dogs, and hope that you can find peace.

Ugh... not even going to post what I just saw... hahah....

Patrick DOES have this *ability* to find random posts that someone made like a decade ago, and then use them to defeate someone's own argument that they're making a decade later... it's really annoying when I'm in a debate on here, and he throws that wrench out... hahaha...

Coward, um no. Attention whore, not as guilty as you, but yes, guilty.
In regards to the dog thread, let others read it, then read what you JUST posted.
Actually... My responses... First one an hour and 25 minutes after your opening post. Insulting and unhelpful?! ...

Take your dog to the vet. The time spent fighting here may be better well spent taking him to a real Dr. The internet is not a vet.
But seriously, I hope all is well with your dog. Animals give more love than humans, and sometimes they need us to return that love.

If you are going to tell the forum lies, at least do it so that you can back it up. I still am not going to attack you, threaten to "ruin" you, or even care. Your view on life is different from mine. In mine, I can back up my words. In yours.... ?

You can back up your words as you hide behind your computer. Whatever happened to your offer to fly me to Spokane so you can set me straight? Why won't you give me your address? So how are you backing up your lies about me where you called me an insurance fraud? Where is your proof on that? That seemed to me to be an awful lot like an attack, but you can only do that from the safety of your keyboard.
And yes, when your advice starts out "I don't like you, but...", don't count on people to pile on the gratitude.

But Todd, I also use that "ability" to recall the good things as well that people post in this forum. I may not agree with your politics for example, but I enjoy other discussions with you, just as I've enjoyed Tony's input at PFF.

Sigh.... yeah... it does get in the way sometimes. I'll have the entire forum totally beat, and then you'll throw out something I said 10 years ago, and then I look the hypocrit... and I lose the argument.
I won't name names, but some people spend too much time on here. Look at the weather we are having, why do any of you want to constantly go at each other's throats sitting behind a PC screen?
I'm going to go cuss at my car while I work on it instead of the PC screen. I suggest you guys do something similar.

I know I'm on that "list"... but the reason is because I'm a computer programmer, so all I do is sit at a computer all day, and then now that I'm back in school again (which is online), I hop on here when I lose my concentration.

Pretty good year so far for me--tho lots of rain--only 2 of my relatives have died so far, plenty of grass for the cows, good calves, money is adequate, we appear to be on the road to getting some more Fiero activity in the Houston area, I haven't yet been snakebit, and, "It's Been a Good Year for the Roses".

Yep, looks like you have all the clueless misfits now.
No, it's just that a lot of PFF members are sick and tired of the way you present yourself. If you could perhaps re-adjust your attitude it's possible you wouldn't be pissing people off all the time.
For an intelligent guy ('cause I know you're not stupid), you're awfully slow to catch on as to why you're so unpopular here.
