Naw, Rumor would hold the Secretary position of a new cabinet department - the Department of Bacon!
Fulfilling one of the prophesies of old--not terribly comfortable seeing this ascension to power--one of the Signs. "There will be Bacon and Rumors of Bacon"

Thanks Nick... if I'm honest, I don't know that I'd ever want to be president. If the situation arose, I was in the position to make it happen, and our country needed help and I felt like I could instill solid morals and fiscal responsibility, then I most certainly would do it. I might be hard-core Republican, but I'd probably have a 50/50 mix of liberals and conservatives in my cabinet so I didn't feel like I was going too one-sided.
I've got big plans for myself, and my career, but should I decide to get into politics, I told myself I would stop at being senator.
You guys might think this is funny, but my best friend from elementary school (Henry Hager) ended up marrying Jenna Bush (Bush's daughter). When I was a kid, I remember his dad was a representative or something. I think he had polio because he was in a wheel chair when I had met him. I kind of lost contact with him through middle school. That's one of those friends that you kind of wish you had kept in contact with! haha...
On the other hand... Cameron Douglass... that's a friend you're GLAD you didn't keep in touch with.
Other than serving the call of my nation, all I intend to do is write a tell-all book and retire comfortably from the proceeds. Whether I publish now, (before the President's 1st term is up) or courteously wait until he is out of office awhile----is totally up to him.

That's my biggest regret, and it bothers me on a regular basis. I've never served my country. I'm very proud of what I've acomplished in the medical field, and in my own career, but I do not at all feel like I've given back to my country in any way, shape, or form.

Mr President--you have bigger regrets than that--you just aren't aware of them yet

Can I run the Secret Service..we wouldn't be so secret anymore. My motto "Deterence through a show of force" would keep the nutjobs from trying to attack the VPDub and the Pres T/A.

I'm announcing that I will officially announce that I may run on the Fastback Party ticket and am looking for a VP candidate to run with. I'm thinking someone like heybjorn, starlight, or frontal lobe.
And if anyone calls me a "Fastbacker" they're getting a punch in the face for their trouble.
Flamberge in 2012!
What, heybjorn? You know he is obstinate, narrow-minded, and makes a joke out of everything that isn't sacred. Oh, he has a red head already.

You're going to be the Secretary of the Interior... make our plants grow again!!! (10 points if you can name the reference).
If I was president, this would be my picks (honestly)
My vice president would be current Florida Rep FL22, Col. Allen West.
The Secretary of the Treasury would be current NJ Gov. Chris Christy The Director for the Department of Defense would be Robert Gates (I would re-instate him). The Director for the Department of Justice would be Senator Ron Paul (I know... but can you think of anyone else who would be as true to the Constitution as he is?) The Director for the Department of Homeland Security would be Senator McCain (if he would take it).
You guys would be surprised, but I'd probably pick some liberals for the Department of Agriculture, Department of Education, and the EPA. They would be centrist liberals, certainly not fundamentalist... but I tend to think areas like that require a more willing spirit. That said... their budget would be designed by me, and I can make recommendations, and push for things like strong American history and pride in the DoE.
