That;s enough to make e cry. At those prices I would be jumping into the most powerful V8 I could find. I am paying just under triple that price.

It has been dropping steadily around here, today it went up by .01 cents per liter average. So its at 1.11 per liter. You can still find the lowest at 97.7 cents if you head out to the valley, about a 30 min drive from here, or search around locally and get it for about 1.02 a liter. I just added the local gas price update to my website. http://www.captfiero.com I really need to update the home page. I went ahead and removed most of the stuff.

I was at a station today talking to a friend, he got a phone call to drop the price to 1.99. Then before he went out the door to change the sign the phone rang again, 1.99 tomorrow. I was gonna get some gas, but I will wait till tomorrow.

Wal-Mart was 1.939 this morning.

More examples of the BS, its 2.50 here, 10 miles away and then for another 30 miles that I went, its 2.16

Im sure its SOOO much more expensive to ship the fuel that last 10 miles.

Actually, I think we are closer to the supplier than they are.

Already seeing increasingly more tv ads for SUVs and big trucks. Low demand and low prices won't last long.

The ads are only because Ford and GM don't want to close any more plants. People have already changed their driving habits and aren't going to change back because the economy in general is bad. Cheapeer gas still doesn't mean people have the money to buy it. Small cars are in and trucks are not ever expected to bounce back to where they were. An F150 is NOT a practical vehicle for daily commuting, no matter how you slice it.

It's still >$2.50 for premium here in northern Michigan, but I suspect that when I fill up the next time; I'll be paying less than $2.50 for premium.

$2.03 on my way to work, $1.99 on my way home for lunch! I said I wasn't going to be satisfied with falling prices until gas went below $2/gallon again. NOW I can be happy!

At Wal-mart I paid $1.87 for regular. NEVER thought I'd see below $2 gal gas again.

Filled up the Expedition for $42. In August it cost me $75.

Still expensive compared to down south, but gas in Vancouver just hit 79.9 per liter. That's incredible considering it was $1.50 just a short while ago!

I just paid $1.64 here in Dearborn. Then the guy dissed my Lions jacket. In Detroit. *sigh* well, I laughed along with him, actually. Poor ol' Lions. The Rodney Dangerfield of the NFL. At least Rodney was funny.

saw $2.08 yesterday, and thought "what the heck happened now?" being it had been under $2 here lately. Then 1 block away the gas prices are $1.87 so I guess that one station is just being greedy.

With every post, the price of gas is reported as being lower and lower...

Has there ever been a thread topic in PFF history that's been more inappropriately named?
