Paris is already out of jail and headed for home arrest. What BS. Special treatment for those celebrities who cry when they get convicted. She should spend a year at Guantanimo Bay with the terrorists. Justice once again undone for the priviliged class.

This is just plain wrong! They have medical personnel in the prison that can treat her so called illness. If they let every prisoner out of jail because they got sick there would be no one in jail. I don't know if its true or not about the accusation of drug withdrawls but it wouldn't surprise me 1 bit. It still holds true that the rich and famous can get away with anything. I myself am a non drinker and non drug user but you can bet your ass if I or you was to violate any type of probabtion they would lock us up and throw the key away. I used to think Paris was hot but after today it just plain disgusts me to look at her. They put her on house arrest where she can throw parties, get high, get drunk, watch TV, make another porno or whatever. What do you want to bet that during her stay at home she does all of this and gets away with it. I bet they don't even drug test her during her house arrest.
Edit to add... I hope the paparazzi sit at her house 24/7 and catch her on camera breaking the terms of her house arrest. Not that it would get her in trouble.

Poor paris.. she was starving herself.. She is emotional and having a hard time dealing with real life.. Maybe we should all get together and send her get well cards?
It makes me sick that she got out without serving all her sentence..
So if every inmate went on a 3 day starvation diet they would get released? I dont think so.. I know here if an inmate tries doing that, they get a first class trip to the mental ward and an IV hooked up to them until they start eating again.
Wonder who she needs to make a "green tinted" movie with to have made this happen?

In a weird way, I feel sorry for her...not just because she is a complete loser but because it would have done her career, such that it is, a big boost to have jail house cred.
Now she is just another rich ***** who got help courtesy of daddy's money.
This is going to change her life for the worse, guaranteed

Ya on the news. Her shink said she was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. She wouldnt eat because the food was bad, and she was cold without enough changes of clothes. Poooooooor baby. Everyone even Sharpton is getting in on the headhunt claiming shes getting preferential treatment because shes white . The police, the police medical people and her psych all agreed to let her out for house arrest so she wouldnt explode. Id have just moved her into solitary with bread and water. She said Sunday before she turned herself in, that she was going to prove she could take it along with everyone else....guess thats her typical BS too. Anyone wanna take a bet IF she doesnt break house confinement, shell be arrested for DUI or drugs within a month again ?Too bad they cant trade her in for Kelsey Smith.

What a sham. This totally shreds any faith I had left for the justice system. There should be a huge public outcry over this - this just isn't acceptable.
They just had some people talking about how traumatizing her experience was in prison, and how the reporter felt so sorry for her as she wasn't even allowed a razor in her cell to shave her legs. CRY ME A FRIGGIN RIVER! You do the crime, you should do the time. Whats the point of having laws if they are only going to enforce them depending on your social status. They had a chance to prove that the legal system was unbiased, and they failed miserably.

Ding, ding, ding... News flash - This happens all the time!
People with money and/or power and/or authority have been getting away with breaking the laws of the land since "civilization" began. They either don't get charged, or they're charged and found "innocent", or they're found guilty but given a slap on the wrist, or they're put in a "country club" prison and/or they're released after a VERY short time. Nothing new here, nothing new at all. It sucks.
It stinks...but what stinks even more, is that the people who orchestrated this travesty can still look 'ordinary' prisoners, and the Public, right in the eye.My God, this is unbelievably WRONG! Nick

This makes me sick. Hell, we've all got issues, if you've got enough money a doctor can give you a get out of jail free card. They ought to jerk his license.

By LINDA DEUTSCH, AP Special Correspondent LOS ANGELES - Hours after Paris Hilton was sent home under house arrest Thursday, the judge who put her in jail for violating her reckless-driving probation ordered her into court to determine whether she should be put back behind bars.
Hilton must report to court at 9 a.m. Friday, Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini told The Associated Press.
"My understanding is she will be brought in in a sheriff's vehicle from her home," Parachini said.
Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer issued his order after the city attorney filed a petition late Thursday afternoon questioning whether Sheriff Lee Baca should be held in contempt of court for releasing Hilton on Thursday morning.
The celebrity inmate was sent home from the Los Angeles County jail's Lynwood lockup shortly after 2 a.m. for an unspecified medical condition in a stunning reduction to her original 45-day sentence.
She was ordered to finish her sentence under house arrest, meaning she could not leave her four-bedroom, three-bath home in the Hollywood Hills until next month.
"What transpired here is outrageous," county Supervisor Don Knabe told The Associated Press, adding that he received more than 400 angry e-mails and hundreds more phone calls from around the country.
Hilton's return home gives the impression of "celebrity justice being handed out," he said.
City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo complained that he learned of her release the same way as almost everyone else — through news reports.
"It is the city attorney's position that the decision on whether or not Ms. Hilton should be released early and placed on electronic monitoring should be made by Judge Sauer and not the Sheriff's Department," said Jeffrey Isaacs of the city attorney's office.
Sauer himself had expressed his unhappiness with Hilton's release before Delgadillo asked him to return her to court. When he sentenced Hilton to jail last month, he ruled specifically that she could not serve her sentence at home under electronic monitoring.
Parachini said Sauer reminded the Sheriff's Department of that when he learned Hilton was about to be released.
"He reiterated the terms of his sentencing order. He did not agree to the terms of release that the sheriff proposed," Parachini told the AP before Delgadillo asked that Hilton be returned to court.
But, Parachini said at the time, it is the sheriff and not the judge who decides when inmates are released from jail.
Delgadillo's office indicated that it would argue that the Sheriff's Department violated Sauer's May 4 sentencing order.

Ya, she may go back today. The county attorney and the judge who sentenced her are not happy. The judge wrote right in the judgement she was NOT to be given home sentence with electronic monitoring. The sherrif who release her was in complete contempt by doing so. I hope they throw the sheriff in the adjoining cell when she goes back. I heard rumors that she had lots of guests at her house last nite and lots of partying. She basicly spitting in the judges face and I bet hes going to really pursue the whole thing now just to show her whos boss. Id like to see him even give her back the original 45 days because it was cut for good behavior and her little tantrum (or whatever) violates that.

Patrick... you need help bubba, anyone who thinks that anyone else would think that is hot should have their crank ripped off.
Well, from the neck down...I gotta say whoever the donor is for the lower half of this Photoshop is miles ahead of Poorass Hilton in the shape department.
Is it just me, or is Paris cockeyed? Her face always looks asymmetrical. As she ages, (and she will, quickly) she's gonna be one homely doll...
<sarcasm> I think Paris Hilton has learned her lesson...and if you consider the amount of time OJ Simpson spent in jail for two murders, "5" days in jail seems really excessive for violating probation and DUI. <end sarcasm>

Sheriff just picked her up at her house in a B&W to take her back downtown. She wanted to 'attend' the hearing by remote so she wouldnt have to go. Judge said absolutely not and sent a sheriff (chaufaur ) to bring her in personally. That was about an hour ago . I hope they handcuffed her in the back like everyone else.

She's not making things any easier on herself by appearing to expect preferential treatment. She can't have much in the brains dept. if she hasn't figured that out yet.

Na. Don't want to see her burn. Just want to make sure she learns something from all of this. If she keeps getting special treatment, things will only get worse. For her and anyone within her general vicinity. Kinda like threatening your kids with punishment. If you never follow through with it, you'll probably have your hands full.
