They have dropped Dave's sedation by half another couple days and they'll turn it off completely. Then it'll take a few days for him to wake up. I love hearing good news.

...snip... Had trouble falling asleep cause we got some news about David. Because of the fluctuating brain pressures' it's gonna be a couple weeks before they are willing to wake him up. If they try it right now it could kill him. ...snip...
I edited out some of the post due to its deeply personal content. I can't even imagine what Tammy is going through.

Well today they are doing another cat scan and an angio plus putting in a new brain oxygen sensor. My poor hubby's now gonna have 3 holes in his head. Waiting to get the test results. This does not seem to be getting any easier. Oh wait it's not. I'll update when i know more.

I went to the hospital last night to talk to the doctors. Dave's brain has been compromised and there is nothing more they can do. At this point it's only a matter of time. His sister is flying in tonight, after that as a family we are gonna decide the next step. I've signed a DNR. The pressures in his head are up in the 80's. I'll keep everyone informed the best I can.
Great person. I've PMd with him some and wish I could have met him in person. This is a very difficult time for friends and family. They will be in my prayers. Please make it known that if his family is in need there are people on the forum who will help.
