Finally_Mine_86_GT(David Pendergast) suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm sometime this morning. I don't know is condition, nor the current prognosis, but please keep him in your thoughts and prayers for a fast recovery.

Man, that poor guy cannot catch a break In my thoughts also.
If they caught it in time and he makes it through ok, he caught a MAJOR break. A friend of mine passed due to one of these. He was 28, and died immediately because of a cerebral hemorrhage. He seems to be a good guy, I'm hoping his luck has changed.

I KNOW there was no malice intended by remarking about the loss of your friend, but it might be a nice gesture to remove that part of your post; there might be people who are related or very close to him coming on PFF, and reading that will not make them feel very good at all . Just my HO , and of course, I add my sincere best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

Wow, I'll keep him in my thoughts and prayers. Life isn't fair but we have to deal with it anyway. My best wishes to David.

"The Lord must truly love fools, for he made them in abundance."
Crap... poor guy... I hate to see this... I really hope he recovers. Please keep us updated. The guy has helped me out more than once out of the goodness of his heart, never asking for anything either... just wanted to help out. He really is a good person.

Sad to hear, prayers given. Recalling Finally_Mine_86_GT's posts, he always had an issue to deal with it and never backed down or lost faith. May he have the strength and determination again, not that I expect he won't.

Dave's wife, Tamara posted an update a few hours ago(I was away from my computer for a long while this afternoon) and posted this:

Well Dave came out of surgery. They were able to repair the aneurysm and stop the bleed. Our concerns now lie with post surgical swelling and fluid build up. He will be kept under until at least Monday and will be brought slowly out. Until then it's a waiting game. God he's in your hands.
