Washed the car inside and out. Even spent a good 1.5hrs scrubbing the heck out of some weird dark marks all over the dash with a magic eraser since nothing else seemed to even make a dent in 'em. It looked like something had spilled over the top of the dash from one side clear to the other side and was only wiped off the top of the dash, not the front. But it's 95% gone.

Had a little bit of trouble shooting on the car today but it's running great for now. Need's a new TPS though. Filled up with gas, checked the basics. After that we washed the car and cleaned it out so we are ready to roll.

Fun, fun, fun What a great event. My grandson and I had a blast. Good to see Don & Jane again and get to visit with my bud, Ron Titus. He owes me 3 beers by the way. Had fun cruising into Austin with the SA - AAFO group. Very good planning by the BAT CITY FIERO ladies, yes they did all the work. Great bunch of Fieros’ and great people in them. Got to see lots of old friends and make some new, what could be better? Thanks again BAT CITY FIERO GROUP Mike Parker

I had a blast, I'm glad my car waited to break down until we were on the way home this time. Shift cables went out and were sticking. Got them working for a few miles at least, Thanks Kevin and Ken!, but most of the trip back to south Austin was made in 2nd gear...
WOW what a GREAT turnout! Who knew Becca and Heidi would pick out some awesome curvy roads. How they found them is beyond me. Wish we could have blocked off that one road and gone all out (without Lupe gripping the door for dear life) lol
I would like to thank everyone for coming to the meeting/cruise. I guess it was more of a cruise than meeting humm I will work on that. As usual it was super great to have the support of the AAFO group! You guys rock! Wish the other TX clubs could have made an appearance or at least sent a rep. Oh well ...there will other times for ya'll to think about it. We meet every other month
Looks like I was the "late one" to start off, I just could not get the cupholder going in the right direction but hey it all worked out. How about that weather! Heard it was 91* plus all the clouds, perfect! At least for us non-A/C Fieros.
So on with the pics! More can bee seen at the website (see sig)
Hey great event! Great turnout! Great Fiero! And Great timing, at least for me. One weekend I didn't have to work!
Heidi has tons of pics to post. She’ll get them posted as soon as she can get back to the computer and figure out how to work the posting thing.
Glad to hear Ben & Becca made it home with the mostly stuck shift cables. I can only imagine – 2nd gear – agonizing! The shifter was stuck rigid, immobile solid until Becca wrenched a temporary fix. Look for the pic. Heidi took pics and will post soon...
Great job Heidi and Becca! Looking forward to the next one!
See ya,
Ken

We had a great time!! Thanks for the invite, and the planning was excellent and the cruise events well laid out for all of us!! Dunno if we'll make the next cruise/meeting or not, as we'll be in DFW for Ruckus the 1st weekend in Oct.
TXGOOD--sorry we didn't make it up to RoundRock to Jr's. Jane has been on my ass for 6 years now to take her down to 6th St, so that's where we went Sat night and ended the evening up in a Dennys over on Hiway 79? at 3am. I think she's had her fill of 6th St tho--it wasn't what she'd expected, but it sure did fill the description of "Keep Austn Weird". (wow--the things I saw there ) We just got back home a bit ago--7PM.
I'll post a few pics later, after we get unpacked and the animals fed.

That`s ok Don, I`m glad you guys had a good time. I don`t know if you have ever been down on South Congress but that`s another great representation for "keep Austin weird" We had a good crowd at Junior`s. Stephen, you and all of the NTFC are always welcome. Mike

Looks like y'all went out to cow creek it's a nice drive makes me wish I could have made it even more. I learned to drive out in that aria (mostly 1869 and 1174) some awesome roads out there. I hope I can make the next one and the drive is just as nice.
rambozo and revin, no, not in 2006 and I started back to work today and AISD has the forum blocked leaving me unable to defend myself! =P
Prez, I KNOW we didn't get lucky on finding that route! Remember, I stared at the map for an hr or so collecting options then she and I drove it twice to scout and make final decisions and find a lunch spot. Also, I'd love to do a Wimberley (Googled the spelling lol) trip since it's down south lol. So =P hehe.
On a separate note, thanks Heidi for the pic. Love it!

We have it planned for Feb. 9th at 10:30, The start point will be at 1050 N IH 35, New Braunfels, TX 78130. The route is advertised on the www.batcityfiero.com forum. Hope to see some San Antonio Fiero enthusiasts there. Shaun
