Nope, we ran the whole route as planned. Got drizzled on a few times, but mostly dry, and 100% fun. Spent a few hours relaxing after the cruise eating and watching the clouds swirl around. It finally started to rain properly around 6pm, but the rest of the day was great weather-wise.
Very nice to see some old friends, and make some new ones!
I'm transferring video from the camera now, and I'll try to get something put together in the near future.
Cheers, Rich

A huge thank you to those who came out today!!!!! Fiero troopers. Most of the day was dry during the cruise which allowed alot of high speed cornering and there was alot of that. I was so mad about this hurricane but what can you do. We all had a totally awesome day. Crystal Cave is a great place to visit. So those who didnt come you did miss a very good drive and Fiero time.
I will do a October Fall cruise to the Poconos unless knowing my luck it snows. So do what you have to and make the next cruise. No registration no trophys just driving americas greatest sport car through beautiful scenery and most importantly being with friends who are what makes this Fiero passion the true heart of it all.
Rich and Meg thanks a million for being awesome host at your home!!!!!!! Lance as always a honor to have your friendship and company
And last but certainly not least Mark and Karen of Owosso Mich. who drove out here despite the weather and made this event that much more meaningful!!!! Mark i hope the course was fast enough and twisty enough for you. Stay tuned for next time. Cheers

Sorry I couldn't make it guys, my girlfriend was freaked out by the whole hurricane thing. Ended up spending most of the day cleaning up the yard to make her happy. It was raining ALL DAY here in Delaware. =/
great pics pete! its a good thing you called off today i think somebody's car would've been damaged if we went to the hill climb. i made the stupid decision to test drive my car after fixing the manifold leak and ended up driving on a road covered in debris from the trees and watched a tree fall down in the woods and my car was getting pelted by small branches. i didn't see any damage but i had to pull a branch out of in between my spoiler and decklid. most of my town is completely flooded too.

Pete, we had a great time. And yes there were more than enough twist and turns and even some of the ups and downs we don't have in my part of Michigan. The ups and downs really do make a difference too, since there are some times when you lose sight of the car in front of you when you are still going up the hill and the car in front goes down. Really neat! We really enjoyed the Crystal Cave too, it was a neat break in the middle of the run.
And a big thanks to Rich and Meg for hosting the dinner at their place it was the perfect end of the day.
Just for everyone's information, we had a motel for the Friday and Saturday night in Pottstown down at the end of High St. next to the creek. I took pictures of the bridge being repaired and of the old bridge over the creek along with the Community College since they were already sand bagging on Friday night. So we packed everything up on Saturday morning so we didn't have to go back to Pottstown. It was a good thing too since I just found a picture of the old bridge and the water was up at least 12 feet from Saturday morning and the creek drains into the Skokyle River and it is expected to peak at 15 feet above flood level. So probably my Fiero would have been under water on Sunday morning if we would have stayed there overnight on Saturday. We went dirrectly from Sabooo's house to head back west. We couldn't get a hotel or motel until we were 200 plus miles west of Allentown because of the evacuees from the storm.

Thanks Pete for an awesome weekend. Mark and I always have a great time when we take the Fiero(s).
For anyone who wasn't able to make this weekend. Pete did a great job. Fieros were made for Pennsylvania roads!!! Beautiful scenery, fun, fun, fun cruising.
Thanks too to Rich and Meg, and kids, for opening your home for the cookout. Everything was delicious.
It was great seeing Pete again, and meeting Rich, Meg, Jess, Ben, Lance, and Phil.

Glad to hear you guys are home safe! We had quite a bit of wind and rain overnight last night, and are still without electricity. Otherwise, all is well.
We had a great time meeting you, and you are welcome back to our house anytime!!
Cheers,
Mr. and Mrs. Sabooo.

Rich and Pete, I am glad we decided to leave right from Rich's house at the end of the run on Saturday. I was able to go out to the local Pottstown newspaper and found a picture of the flooding in the area of where our motel was in Pottstown. Early in the day on Sunday it was already up over the road and would have been in the parking lot of the motel. So it is really a good thing we headed west early. I have heard that the Skokul sp. river was going to crest out about 15 feet above flood stage at the highest level ever so it would get even worse. The guy in the Honda shop next door to the motel showed me pictures from Agnes in 1972 where the water was 10 to 15 feet up the wall of his shop. If it got that high this time then even the second story of the motel would have had water in it.
To all those who did not make it for some reason, you need to rethink your priorities and make sure you get to the next ride that Pete puts on it is a blast. So next time come he!! or high water, you will have a great time. And the next time I get a chance we will be back and hopefully bring some other Michiganders with us.
