Pete - Meg and I will be scouting up some road for the last leg on Saturday this week. How long do you want that leg to be? There are miles and miles of great roads, we just need to know when to say when.
No rain date. This is the only weekend that will work. My forecast says possible rain sunday sat and fri should be fine. Besides you know weatherman. Im really glad your coming cause you had a belt problem in the spring. Rich I will call you about the mileage.

Hey Pete, got your message on FB. Not gonna make it unfortunately Tried to "play" with the intake and now it doesn't run worth a damn. I think I have a clogged injector. Big things to come though, hopefully ready for Lititz! Have fun!
We are coming any way. Don't care if the wind storm comes up the coast. If it gets too bad on Sunday, we will pack up and head home to the interior where hurricanes don't blow.

Im praying that Irene goes WAY OUT SEA!!!! The F%@# B(*@#
I forget unlike me most people use GPS these days
So here is the meeting place address Trivet Diner 4549 W. Tilghman st. Allentown pa.
Who is coming friday? We leave the diner at 6pm,
I'm hoping I can make this really badly.. My suspension is in pieces right now, taking a quick 20 min break to eat and I'll be working through the evening/night getting as much as I can done. They are forecasting a 70% chance of rain tomorrow here, so if it rains I won't be able to work. Sigh...
I reserved a room in Pottstown for $48 a night. It is about a 35 mile drive to where we are meeting, but I don't have a whole lot to do other than sleep there. We are leaving Michigan about noon today to go at least 1/2 way today so we can meet tomorrow night with everyone.
From the weather service we should be fine over the weekend for the weather. It doesn't look like Irene is coming very fast and it will take until late Sunday or early Monday before it affects PA. So I am hoping it doesn't speed up and wreck the weekend.
We are looking forward to meeting new people and renewing friendships with some we have already met. See you tomorrow night.
My car wouldn't start today so I don't know about if I'm going or not. It start pouring on me as I tried to troubleshoot so I ended up taking my GF's car to work. Hopefully it clears up and I get to take a look.

Yep, my to-do list is winding down. Couple of odds and ends around the house for Saturday night, and shine up the cars for tonight and we're all set.
At this point, we are planning the cook-out under cover. I have a covered patio / rec room / man cave that will serve us well. And if it should just happen to change it's mind and be nice, it's easy enough to move out. I've picked up food for an army, too. I'm not serving any alcohol, but if you want to have some, please feel free to BYOB.
My car is being held hostage by the shop..for the inspection, seems the backup lights don't work now..( funny they worked last week) switch is on the trans in my car (Isuzu 5 speed) so at this point I'm not sure Pete. Denise, (Erniehawk is my Bro)

First night was great! Just a few of us, but a really nice show. I think Pete took some pictures, but unfortunately I lent my camera to my Brother-in-law and dont have it back yet.
I did cobble a bit of a video together of Meg and I driving to the show.
Shot on a GoPro Hero HD, 720p@30fps. Edited on Pinnacle Studio 15. Just learning how to do the video thing, but here's my effort:
Really hoping you all will brave the grey skies tomorrow!
Cheers, Rich

I hope you guys are having a good time out there. I ended up working on suspension all day long, and since I was using the original bolts for my suspension build (like an idiot I forgot to get new ones)- the threads shredded right off while trying to assemble everything. I packed it all up and I guess I'm placing an order from TFS for some new hardware, what a dumb@$$ move.. At least I'll be able to do the rear suspension now too, no rush .
You guys drive safe and have fun!
P.S.- That cam has such a wide angle, awesome how it practically gets the whole interior.

My family vehicle (caravan) jump the timing chain and smashed my valves against my piston's this afternoon. Now I am in a pinch to get another vehicle just to even go for groceries. Family of 7 the groceries won't fit in the fiero.
I'm sorry guys!
As mentioned above lots of pics PLEASE, and have fun and be safe. I'll be thinking of the cruise I missed with the caverns.
P.S. Pete you are doing a fall cruise right? hint/hint when the leaves are changing.

I would say that the threat of the hurricane and high winds should cut this cruise short. Weather was terrible here today and we are expecting 50 mph winds and heavy rain here tonight. Best to plan for another weekend in the fall but you Pa people may have sunny weather. If so enjoy!.
