The RR are a pretty straight forward car, lots of switches and relays, mostly old school. The brakes now that's a different story; 34 bleeder valves, runs on mineral oil, a maintenance nightmare! A lot of the car is GM parts, believe it or not-IF I had more money than brains, I think it would be cool to get an older Rolls and drop a Z06 engine in it, a real sleeper. Yep, with money I could be "dangerous"!

Really though, sure would like to see that Mera. Maybe we'll cross paths out there in Oakland or Macomb counties. In the mean time watch out for the crazies and stay upwind of the DTE Energy Center, the smoke will render you unable to drive the Mera!

ha! funny! the trick is all they need is a screw driver and......oh wait....best to say no more anyway, i come from the land down under and to the West....Kalamazoo area. i see alot of Fiero Events up your way so i plan to get up there this comming season and/or the Lansing area. i'm sure we can corrdinate something.
No need to ask Dan for his mirrors, he will trade for a set of black on clear MERA wheel hub stickers
when you cant trade your Mera/Ferrari mirrors for the OEM Mera stickers because the Mera stickers are worth more and harder to replace with OEM....hahahaaaaaaaaa

no worries all... i have 308 vitaloni power mirrors, mera emblem for rear deck, gts emblem and 2.8v6 emblem... i have new oem mera1 taillights and turn signals... we got ya covered.

"you know you are a Mera Owner when"-you can go to the junkyard and find emblems for your Mera and maybe some Fiero Wheels to paint.
i got to thinking as far as the Emblems i live in MI and am confident i may have acess to more cars in my junkyards than most states have registered DD.I most likely will find the GrandAm letters needed and the 2.8 V6. i got the GTS one so i do not need that. but wheels and Fiero Parts i will need for the future, is a summer goal too. find me some parts cars. yeeeeehaaaaawwwww!!!!
the only worrysome parts are the taillight lenses and the Mirrors. i will have to figure out something (^^GLUE!^^) and cuz the mirrors are loosening up on me, also. they get out of wack while driving, so i got to fix that too.

if you must. but i like the thrill of the hunt. getting all "AmericanPickers" on the piles. if you guys want/need anything from any type vehical let me know. i got Tommy some Fiero turns for his Mera. i assumed Fiero Parts were hard to come by in the HI. so i got a deal on 2 sets kept one and shipped one on the "PalmTree Express".

ps... i purchased 2 sets of NOS "MERA" letters for the rear deck lid. and 2 sets of NOS 2.8v6 emblems. and i found a used gts emblem. this is all besides my mera emblems from 7071. im sure dan will ask for pics and i will send them to him once i get them. they still have to be shipped to me.

The 308/328 section on Fchat is very lively. Are any of your 308 owners active on Fchat? Are you active on Fchat. You seem to be very big on Ferraris. What is the name of your shop? I did a Google search for Ferrari service in Oklahoma but did not find anything.

ole Bob is in the Mera factory in the sky.....Rodney may have contact info of old employees. but he is currently occupied with other things to care to much about Meras, here on the PFF anyway.

rodney wont share info about the mera archives he supposedly has. and i have only seen like 2-3 pictures of his car on the entire pff. a car that he ferrarized because hes not much into meras anymore or not into helping the mera community lately other than to push his weight around in other avenues to steam roll people. what has rodney done for the mera community in the last several years? im not talking his fiero parts im talking mera specific? does he share the cc video he supposedly has? or the archives he supposedly has? i dont think he has them... wheres proof of them? not just pictures, because pictures can be faked, but actual copies to dan or nelson or indiana or someone here that can prove he has anything other than an old vin list.

I was one of 24 artists chosen by GM to illustrate the then "new" SSR. GM flew me into Detroit with all the other artists (1/29/03), wined and dined us, even took us through their "skunk works" to see the SSR and all the steps it took to get to its production form. Because of this I met with a lot of designers and PR guys, I could give them a call, they should remember me as its my illustration that hangs in their conference room. Problem is with all the cut backs they have had I am not sure any of them are left.?
