sorry Revin... I gots no pics!

As for Mark's trophy... there are two likely explanations...

Steve, I got your envelope, and at the top was your name... and the class and your number. You were DD-1... except it didn't look like DD-1 at all.
I showed the envelope to Jennifer... it looked like DD-7 (which was Mark's number)... whoever scribed the envelope got a little trigger happy on the dash with the Sharpie and viola! your DD-1 becomes DD-7. That might have been it.

The othe explanation is that people, in their haste to vote, or just laziness of voting... vote for the first car in the class. DD-1. Now I KNOW Mark's car did get votes... but maybe not as many as the default entry of car #1.

I prefer to think it was a clerical oversite on the part of AER... I think that maybe someone saw that 'DD-7' looking envelope and put Steve's name down in the wrong blank. -- or maybe not. But I made the call... We had a trophy, and a deserving voted for car without a trophy... so I gave it to Mark. That and he would not stop crying.

(all of this is in jest, I have an abrasive personality and I want to explain so no one takes this serious) SORRY..... AutoMARK..... geez some people.....(I got your PM Blake about him throwing himself on the ground and holding his breath.)

Now of course, my car is SOOOOO much better looking than SOME PEOPLES (grey car), I wont mention names, that my car doesn't even have to attend to win. Just saying....... Some OTHER people didn't attend (grey car) and THEY DIDN'T win a trophy. It seems pretty clear to me......

Makes for a funny story.

I think that any car that shows up deserves one more than one that doesn't. Congrats on the trophy AutoMark.

Many happy memories made this weekend in San Antonio at the Round-Up...

NTFC was well represented with 5 Fiero's and 1 Envoy.

We had me, Tom, Poe, Mark & Jess, Stu & Margie, Jim & Debbie.

Don't forget we have a club meeting this weekend.

Also... probably a movie night, Wed in Arlington for any who are interested.

Movie night is a GO! for tomorrow at the Parks. The movie will be Iron Man 2 (whatever showing is best for after supper)

Supper will honor Jessica's request for Spaghetti Warehouse which is across the street. I should be there around 1715.

Hope to see some there!

basically what carparts said... though coming from Dallas, you might find it easier to exit Matlock and go down the frontage road to the mall. Spag Warehouse is also there, on the right as you head West.

We will be meeting at Pappas BBQ on May 22nd which is off the NW Highway. We meet for lunch around 1100, visit, do introductions and club business... usually done by 1400 or so.

Look forward to meeting you and seeing your car! If you are free the first week of June, there is an all region Pontiac show, details on page 1 of this post.

Rev, I got your PM and VM... phone died talking to you the other day and just got it fixed this AM. Call ya later.
