whats up....no i found it in the archives. your the one with the 08240......eariler than I....now i remember.....brings up my point your eariler Vin# ended up as #7071 correct? well there was a Mera here on pennocks with a high Vin# but low Mera #...there has to be a pattern or a stock pile of Fieros awaiting conversion......this gets me soooo worked up I need a cup of coffee to come down.....now i have too make sure this is true. later with a edit-

ok so the list goes like this so far; i have 7 complete sets of mera taillight lenses, 2 sets of rear ford reverse lights, 2 sets of nice used vitaloni power mirrors part numbers 31330, and mera molds for most of the body... likely will have all the molds soon. i will offer fiberglass that is reinforced with kevlar in the stress point areas, carbon fiber, and kevlar mera parts. each will be appropriately priced. i wont be back til nov 10th but start making your lists. on the taillights and mirrors it is limited quantities so let me know soon if you want any of those items. thanks everyone. mike in oklahoma

ok... i have 7 complete sets of mera taillight lense sets and some extra singles, reds and ambers. i have 3 sets of the correct ford reverse lights. i have 2 sets of vitaloni power mirrors correct part number for mera's/trying to get more. i have the mera rear bumper mold, mera upper large sail mold, mera quarter sail molds, 308 dash mold, 308 spoiler mold. still trying to aquire the mera front clip mold, mera rear clip mold, and mera door molds. going to make my own mera headlight cover molds. going to build my own front bumper and front spoiler mold to look similar to the 288 gto. looks like i will get the mera molds but likely about a month out or so. they know i have money so they are making me pay dearly for them lol. i will offer fiberglass with kevlar reinforced stress areas of all panels. will offer carbon fiber panels, and will offer kevlar panels. priced accordingly. the repair panels for my car are going to be kevlar front clip, kevlar rear clip, kevlar rear large sail, and kevlar gtb roof recover. i am working on a round 7" headlight conversion for the fiero lights, am building .120 wall 1.25" tubular a arms with heim's on the chassis side and moog balljoints on the knuckle side for the 84-87 and 88 cars front and rear upper and lower respectively. i am building 7075 t651 caliper brackets to mount f430 brembo 4 piston calipers to the fieros. i am installing 12" vette rotors that i cross drill in my mill and install the f430 brembo calipers. i am installing penske/kmr kelly moss racing dual adjustable race coil overs on all four corners with piggy back resevoirs. installing new f355 19" 3pce wheels and new michelin pilot sport a/s tires. i am custom building my own 7075 t651 ls1,ls2,ls6,ls7 to getrag conversion. building my own 7075 t651 billet flywheel, 7075 t651 billet pressure plate with forged steel face, and solid centered clutch with kevlar facing. as we go along.... all conversion parts will be made to the public eventually. i am rebuilding my getrag trans strong enough for most v8 applications/cryo frozen case, gears, shafts, bushings, internals and equipped with ep lsd unit. will also be making 7075 t651 shock and strut braces for the front and rear. this transformation will take time so be patient. after my car is done we need to have a mera car show somewhere... mike in oklahoma

Damn, this boy is good......would like to see car in person....MERA show...good ideer..'cept, may have to wait till next year. at a race track!!!.... it aint sunned up herr in MI...... in a cats age.....what are OK winters like????? seems like when i go to Iowa for annual Slipknot/Stone Sour New Years show, they never had snow.....very peculiar to me....MI in Jan.=12-18" snow on ground till late March....bites!! will have to store Mera X in a couple weeks, 1st snow.....actually it did snow last week...opps...later-

don't think you need to worry about other 308 replicas having any effect on the value of your Mera, as long as you have the documentation to prove it's an actual Mera. That's what makes the difference, really. Without it, it's just a ferrari replica built on a fiero.

On a side note, the best-looking 308 replica I've seen was that white one with an LS engine in it. The owner did a great post on that car a short while back. Would be nice to some day build something like that.

i am building my mera with a ls engine in it.

perkr, my mera is documented. real deal mera.... but several factors behind my decision. first of all i dont want the mera devalued. second ferrari cant come after me if i am not offering 308 kits. instead i am only offering pontiac mera replacement panels. thanks, mike in oklahoma

das guud! in total anticipation of your arrival home for the Main Event......hey by the way I may be on to a counterfit Mera chain in FL that has come to light lately, its quiet disturbing even if you cannot read..... into things like i do.....but the bright side is that I may not have a true Mera afterall sooo .....any engine combo is a reality.....do not have to worry the "stock Mera question"....

balls to the wall.....All out....last year they filmed a Pinks TV show about 35 miles from my house ( i was in Baltimore at the time) but on the TV show, the outtakes, they ran a Fiero down the track...televised...would have been cool to have the Mera next to that Fiero. RACING.....wonder what the commentators would say then????? I am sure some words would have been said.....to start, but if that 3800 was in or your V8 monster? i hear blah,blah,blah,Fiero,blah,blah,rebodie/kit,blah,blah,wollie crap that wannabe 308 is quick,blah,blah,blah,blah,blah and the other Fiero finishes with a good time.....they were kinda bashing on the guy, anyway....back on the case....Later-
