Fierfly, Savet and I will be leaving Wilkesboro around 11am tomorrow (Friday). We will be taking the Blue Ridge Parkway down to Asheville, and then the quickest route from there. I am guestimating a 6:30 arrival time. Can't wait to see everyone...

Got the car packed and I'm getting my hair and nails done right now. Leaving in a few hours.

I am in western Tennessee right now but I have to work for the next three days. I wish I could go with you all.

When and where are everyone meeting Fri. night or Sat. morning before the run? I take it were gathering and heading out from the motel Sat. morning?

NOTICE
For anyone coming in using Google Maps - they're wrong. They put the location of the motel several blocks away at the wrong end of downtown. Mapquest has the correct location. If you check the satellite view, you'll see the pool in the center of the parking lot with the motel buildings surrounding it.

Edit: Just got back from a run up the Cherohala Skyway. The weather is awesome! Yeah, a little rain here and there, but it's been very spotty. If tomorrow is a repeat of today, we should be on good shape.

I sent it with my Uncle Darrell, he said he looked for you after the run and Charlie said you had already left. I'll get it to you somehow.

I had a great time at the run, but I did have one isue I pushed a little to hard with hard tires and did a 360 in a corner.
I was able to keep it on the road and no one ran into me before I go on the twisty's again I will have new sticky tires on the car.
nothing happened to the car but I did slow way down after that for the rest of the day. it was a little water in the corner and hard tires that caused my adventure.
all is well that ends well and I am still looking forward to the next time
I will post some pic's of the run on monday and I am sure others will post pic's of me going the wrong way

I don't have any pictures of it...but I have a video of the aftermath. Sorry bout the poor youtube quality. Sharon was holding the camera out the sunroof, so there is tons of wind noise...I will get that edited out later. The fun is at about 0:55
