i am mainly wanting to trade for a gt fastback even tho i love my storm dearly. i know it does close to 140 mph stock. 1/4 mile time isnt that good tho i have seen some stock ones doe high 13's and low 14's but if turbo charged can easily be a 11 sec car. anyone interested?

Stainless steel exhaust tips are from WCF (Camaro copies). Muffler from SpinTech. Custom duals to fill the gap left by the factory on the 4 cyl cars. Gives the 4 banger a nice sound.

This is from Fiero 5's collection... I don't know if he still has that car. It was one of my favorite 4cyl engine bays (excpeting SD4's!)... clean, had some color...
In a thread he explained that the ractive intake was non functional... just something to go along with the theme of the car.
Thx blakeinspace I finaly seen a pic of the Holley air cleaner ,,Made my day lol .I know there some rare , good pic thx ...Rob
Is that Holley air cleaner really an aircleaner or just a cover that goes over the air cleaner? I almost bought one on Ebay and I thought it was just a cover.

Yes, it really is an air cleaner. It replaces the existing cover. I wouldn't mind the valve cover as well but have yet to see one come up for sale anywhere. To answer the question about Jordans Fiero, yes we still have it. He had decided to sell it last year to avoid it sitting for a few years and deteriorating to where it would not be road worthy or worth anything by the time he was able to drive it. But after a few attempts to sell it we have parked and covered it for the winter and will see again what Jordan feels like doing this coming spring.
BTW: That engine pic of Jordans Fiero is a very early one, as it now has a functional air intake, NOS, etc Let me see if I have a more accurate updated one I can post.
Also, our silver 85 "Fiero8"... This is what the engine bay looks like in that one:
Don't forget the engine bay in the Bengal Fiero:

Yes, the Bengal Fiero was totaled by the insurance company after it was hit when my daughter was driving it. A lady from MA cut through a red traffic light as my daughter was driving through the lights and slammed into her in the drivers side and pushed the Fiero sideways up a curb and slammed the passengers side into the traffic light pole. The damage really wasn't that bad and showed just how well the Fiero is made especialy as my daughter didn't even end up with a bruise or a scratch. We bought it back from the insurance company and my Dad (87V6GT) worked on it off and on last year for quite a few months and now it is like new again. The only reason it is not on the road right now is that the starter went on it and it is waaaaay to cold out to change it right now.

Fiero5, if you dress up like Ralphie's brother, you should stay warm enuff to get that starter changed out.
LOL Well, if I dressed up like Ralphies brother I wouldn't be able to then move my arms to fix anything, to say anything about getting back up afterwards
Where did you get that valve cover? That has to be the nicest I have seen on ANY motor.

Also, I have this cover, but it is not on my motor. And yes, it is only a cover. It goes over the existing air cleaner. Right now my 4-cyl looks like trash and doesn't run...yet. Once the temps get out of the freezing range I will work on the Fiero. I don't plan on using the Holley cover, so maybe I should try selling it. Seems to be pretty rare. Think it will fetch a pretty penny?

The air cleaner was custom made for me by Fred Bartemeyer. Hartland Fieros. I told him what I wanted and he went above and beyond what I had asked for. The knob was custom made also. The valve cover may still be available. That I could check out . Price would be about $175.00 Ron T
My '84 SE 2.5 with Crane roller rockers, performance cam, ported and polished head, Holley TBI, Holley intake manifold, SD valve cover, SD balancer, Fiero Store performance exhaust manifold and hi volume oil pump. (I think that's everything)
OK, I found a more up to date pic of what the engine has actually looked like for the last few years on one of my back up drives. Long gone is the cold air setup replaced by a better looking chrome intake tube in place of the stock black plastic one to the air cleaner housing:

what ever happened to those turbo kits anyway? Found an old catalog where they advertised turbo kits for both the 2.5 (up to 140 hp) and the 2.8 (up to 190 hp) stating that it would not have a negative effect on reliability... Don't want the average it's-because-the-duke-sucks-real-bad answer unless it's backed up by facts (or statistics)
Ha I've got Oslos old kit in my 84. I'll see if I can get some pics or climb over all the snow and get some currents. But it wount be pretty right now been sitting for awhile.
Fieromonkey and T-top Fiero, would you mind giving us the details on your engines?
mine is stroked to 2.7 with a Superduty crank, rods and pistons. Superduty intake and head, cam'ed, Holley injection. im still tinkering with it. Turbo is set to about 8lbs of boost with air fed through the decklid via an indy roof scoop.
I have a spare unbuilt complete superduty with a 3.0 crank rods and pistons, but i never seem to get around to building it and sticking it in there. It's hard to pull out a running motor to replace with another for me i guess.

sorry correction its a 1993 geo storm gsi with a 5 speed 1.8 liter dohc motor factory with 180 hp and can be easily turbo charged with a 1991 isuzu impulse rs. impulses are an exact replica besides the from end and the drive train is awd and its also turbo. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2511548/2
Hm and to think my stock 2.8s dont even reach 180....
Hey standard, do you have more pictures of your engine bay to share? I'm interested in how you routed your coolant, it looks like you have an inline filler there? Also, is that manifold painted, or coated? If it's something like VHT, how's it holding out? Did you paint your vacuum lines or did you find colored ones? Oh, and it it looks great btw!
