DCFox. Those APC seats are like the ones I put in my car. I find them very stiff in the Lumbar area, and you can't open the Glove box, but they look hot. I will try and get some pics in the next few days. Mine are yellow and black to match my car.
Ah not that bad. You kind of just have to use the center console/tunnel thing to lift yourself a bit and then rotate your feet out of the car. I'm still young so its nothing I can't handle lol.
Although they aren't reclinable, they are still very comfortable. Sparco has very high quality products in my opinion.
If you don't mind me asking, how tall are you and what do you weigh? I've been eyeing the sparco Sprints for a while now and am wondering if I'd be comfortable in them @ 6' & 220lbs...

I'm the exact same actually, and I fit perfectly snug... thats also going to depend where you're storing that weight though... I'm an athletic, broad in the shoulders thin waist build... they are somewhat narrow through the waist and hips...

Definitely... well where do you plan on purchasing them from? I bought mine from JRP performance in Mississauga (close to Toronto) and I was able to sit in them before I made a decision. They have a warehouse with them in stock. I would suggest trying to find a race shop that carries them in stock and testing them out first. On the Sparco site, I'm sure they have dimensions...

What did you pay for them?

the old style one I believe I payed a little over 200$... it was the last in stock and for a while I was running just the driver seat as the racing seat...
then I went back a month later and they had the updated design in stock and I believe I payed around 300 for it...
The mounting points and dimensions of the seats are identical. Just the stiching is slightly different. The new design is actually really nice.

Here they are the complete finish racing seats special for Fiero sizes .
Those are pretty nice, what brand are they?
and you said they are special for the fiero... I may have read in another thread that somebody was modifying seats to fit in the fiero... are those somehow modified?

The price for one seat starts from 400 USD . Everything same the red/black seat shown by the pic will be about 700 USD . These both sets of seats in the pic also got the FIA lizense and the weight is only 8,5 pounds .

Sounds about right. I would also look into the new street model seat called the Sparco Steel. Its reclinable and apparently designed to fit into smaller vehicles. It is also 289USD + tax
The sparco speed is also a nice seat.

Oops. I forgot about this. This project is on the back burner, so I haven't done much with them, except for a trial fit. They are taller, so they might hit the roof when I tilt them forward. They don't have a simple mechanism like the Fiero seats. They have a fine-tune adjustment knob for the back position, and a separate lever for tilting the seat forward for easy access. This tilt is slightly up then forward, so I might have clearance issues. I'll find out when I get back to this project.
