Ya I guessed that one right on the money (12-15K) Couldnt believe they all yakked it up about nothing while it was on the block. Then told ya all about another plain jane Mustang that there a 2 million of. Maybe theyll give some info later on, hopefully.

missed it by one lot! Hopefully someone will have it posted sometime. My dish says it goes on for another 5hours or so, and then it says Barett-Jackson again. Could this second one possibly be a re-run?

Yeah that sucks. The show comes on & you can see the Fiero on the block. But thjey gotta introduce all the Speed reporters & by the time they're done the Fiero is rolling off the block.
The 1st car after the Fiero (lot 46.1) was the one that they finally got on TV.

Them yakking it up with it on stage shows the collector community is not ready for not just Fiero's but many of the cars from the 80's yet.
Let the cars from the 80's play out like the later TA and Z28 cars and then we will see some interest in the 80's.
Collectors are now just getting interested in the 77-79 Trans Am's and next will be the body color bumper Z/28's. Then you will see the 3rd Gen F bodies and Mustangs start to come on and I think the Fiero will get a chance to show it's self them but this is down the road right now.
Our time will come.

There will be BJ reruns all year long but this is live and Speed will have a total of 40 hours of live coverage this week.

the after midnite shows are reruns of that day. Their website doesnt say what time the auctions started, tried to find it but I think they started a 10am this morning. I think the all day sat and sun are all live. Im still not sure then if tonites and tommorrows are hilights or live.

The paper work means nothing at all as you can see. It is timing as HyperV6 said and It is sad that this car was pawned off a few times only to make money and not collected. I only hope now that the new owner keeps it and enjoys it without seeing $$$$$$ signs on it. I know one guy who wanted that car a short time back and was pooped on. He would have saved it and taken care of it . I hate to see the real price on this car after fees and all expenses are taking into consideration. SC

$15350 grand total to buyer (plus sales tax, registration, etc......probably in the low $17K range when all is said & done).
Barrett-Jackson is the big winner......add the $500 registration fee to the $1350 buyers premium to the $1080 sellers premium (8%) and they made $2930 on a $13,500 car!

That is correct. My buddy often sells cars in Barrett Jackson auctions to rich guys and he confirmed the total auction fee is 18%-ouch!. The big winner overall is Barett Jackson. Those guys make millions in one evening!

I might as well send my Indy to Archie to be chopped. These cars will never be worth much to collectors. And I better get that 77 Trans Am while they are still cheap.

Assuming Fieros ever get there, we're almost 2 decades too early in the evolution of a collector car to be looking at big $. The '88 is still not old enough in many states to even get an antique/historic status license plate.

True, my Indy still has a few more years to go before it's exempt from smog. But if you have a Plymouth Superbird in any condition whatsoever it's north of $200,000.

the 80's were the worst decade for cars period .the fiero was a bright spot during that decade but high insurance rates ,55 mph speed limits and some of the ugliest cars the world ever saw(i nominate the pontiac 6000 ) means nothing from the 80's will ever be worth anything.
