Sounds great... now I have something to look forward to and the e-approvement is not a problem anymore as long as I can buy them from another EU country.

Great!.... Now I just have to choose Halogen or Xenon... I guess the Xenons will be a bit pricey (€350 a pop over here) so the halogen lights it is. My german isn't the best but from what I can read you can choose if you want the position light in the hight beam... am I right?

I need some fairly accurate measurements of them to see if they will fit into the Twin Light Bucket I have or if it will be better to use the "Blank Bucket" for them.

I might get my set from Hella today (so I was promised)... the 90mm's with parking light all connectors and rubber cap. I'm not 100% sure they're the exact ones you mentioned but when I get them I'll check the product numbers.

About 700 swedish kronors (75 EUR) for each lamp and a few hundred for the cables, adjusters and caps. But that's my price... I think 1100kr each + tax over the counter. My friend got them from one of his autoparts suppliers, don't know the name of them but I can't buy from them directly.
EDIT: Price

OK, thank's! That's about the price i got. 700SEK + VAT (MOMS) each lamp. I was hoping for less. The thing is, when loking for comon parts like lamps and such, i go ask at the dealers that sels to truckers. Heavy trucks usualy has a lot of lamps on them. I even found diode lamps for the rear that way, still havent found the modells i want though. It's usualy a lot cheaper than to go to a shop specializing in car-tuning. There i found the hellas for 1200SEK/pice. I just wish the price for the Xenon lights would drop to decent level. There is no components in the setup for xenon's that justifyes the price. (I will have to sadle with regular 90mm hellas for now.)

If some one is making a kit that has nicely cut frames for the lamps, I'm in. This is a really sweet mod and I want better lights. In my area, we have deer everywhere. I've hit (they have hit me) 3 in my Fiero over the last 8 years.
Let me know when they are ready!
BTW, I'll be in Frankfurt Germany on the 18th, 19th, and 20th of December. Any chance I would be close enough to pick up a kit? I would need to figure out a way to keep the coworkers happy while I used the rental car.

Frankfurt..? You cant get much closer to Fiero1Fan without sitting in his lap. And since he's the one making the light mod available for the rest of us, you realy should meet up with him while youre in Germany.
Picking up the final proto-type buckets tomorrow for the last test fitting. Then they go to the CNC people for cutting. By next week I should finally have the prices.

R Runner don't worry about a rental car I can pick you up. I should have them ready by then. I was having 30 sets done in the first run. I am beginning to doubt it will be enough. I think I'll bump the order to 50.

The actual demand will depend upon the final price, including shipping to North America. Some of your "guaranteed sales" are certain to disappear when the price is announced. I've been there. Then there are others, like me, who are interested but are waiting to see the final product and price before making a commitment.
Yes I know about the price to demand idea. Been there and done that with the f355 nose that I offer. That is the reason I don't offer the lights them selves unless someone absolutely needs me to get them. Here in Germany the lights wholesale are more expensive than they are retail in the states.
I will be offering 3 different buckets for people to choose from: 1. The twin round 100mm style 2. The rectangular 100mm style and 3. A blank for the people who want to be able to use their own light combination.
Yes the Hella 90mm lights for the bracket also come as a Xenon option. Now those are REALLY expensive! Use the yellow pages and find you nearest Hella dealer and check out the prices for the different light types.

I love the look this mod gives the front end with the lights up. Do you have any ballpark range for the cost? With the Christmas holiday upon us, I need to be able to plan for it. However the price will determine how soon I go this route.

I'm still intrested but want Xenon, can this happen?
I believe Fiero1Fan is only making and providing the steel bucket needed to fit aftermarket lights on the Fiero. The Hella Xenons are the same dimensions as the halogen so I don't think that's a problem, the xenon pricing on the other hand is just silly.
It is possible to convert the halogens to xenon pretty cheap using an aftermarket kit, I've seen some kits for about $200...but I don't know the quality. When I checked the hella xenon pricing they were about 450$ each!
Edit: (someone types faster than me)

I am really looking forward to when these become available. Even if the price is so that I have to spread the mod purchase out to afford it, I need these.
I will have the CNC costs this week then I'll be able to give you a set price. The options I was talking about are 3 different buckets: 1. Twin 90mm rounds low profile 2. Rectangular 90mm high single light, twin beam, low profile 3. Blank low profile ( for those who want to use their own light combinations) All of the buckets will have the same price as there is no difference in manufacturing or material costs.

For those thinking of getting the "Blank" head light bucket I have a question for you!!
How do you want the bracket delivered? I am thinking about shipping the set with the face plate separate from the housing (i.e. not yet welded on) so that it will be easier for you to measure, cut and drill what ever openings that you need. Then you weld the face plate on to the rest of the bucket yourselves.
Or should I have the face plate already attached to save you having to do the welding?
Only on the "Blank" buckets will the face plate be without holes so that people can use what ever form and size lamps they want. The twin rounds and the rectangular buckets come with precut face plates.
Sorry guys.It is taking a little bit longer than planned to finish the design. The last prototype went to the CNC yesterday and I should have a quote from them by Monday. The volume that I require is not very high and there for I am not high on the priority list. Just bear with me and we'll have this real soon.

I really want this, but sadly, must wait til after the holidays now. I was hoping to get an order in before the heavy Christmas shopping started, but... Maybe Feb/Mar timeframe.
