The seals themselves are cheap to make. It's the compound contours of the edges that cost money. I tried to have a supplier make them too but it was out of my budget. Put me down for a set, but a word of advice - take cash from everyone that wanted a set BEFORE you outlay any of your own or you'll get stuck with a crap load of gaskets. I didn't take any cash for the 30+ sets of t-top locks and when they came in people were scarce to find. "Suddenly" no one had any cash ...
It's okay - they're all for sale on my website now.

I have been looking for this site to order a set of new T_Top locks for my car. Getting tired of not being able to lock them and hitting my head on the lock when I get out. Also if this goes thru, I will be in for a set, tied of the minor leak when it comes a down pour.
I bought a set of locks from boomtastic earlier this year and they are quality!!
Thanks Rhino for the kind words!
Sadly I still haven't gotten off my duff and created installation directions, but I have someone working on that now. It's pretty simple to install them, and no one has complained (yet) but I want the entire package done right.
The lock sets are first rate. Mine work just fine and I just wanted to say thinks for getting them made for us.

"Although I have not personally seen the kit seals, I am told that they pick up at the top of the pillars , just sealing the T-Top glass. The seals installed by C&C at the factory, were complete seals going down the sides of the car glass. Apparantly the factory found this to be faster for them to install. This being the case, the CJB seals will work on all T-Tops where the non-CJB seals will only work on the T-Tops which were installed as kits."
It looks like the CJB seals fit my Non-CJB T-Top, after re-reading the quotes. Count me in for a set. Any word on availability, will the manufacturers do it, or should I say can they be cloned? Jim

Hey again. I just spoke to Matt and he has told me to tell you this. Please be very patient. You are looking at one year to one and a half years. We're looking at about eight tools and three different extrusions to recreate the seals you sent to us (CJB)
We have many projects going on here at Steele and this project is one we believe we would like to take on. We just need your patients.
Thank you,
Kenny form Steele Rubber
So as you can read above guys it looks like it is a go but it will take some time to get the first ones built. We will just have to be patient on this and wait for them since they are the only hope we have in getting a replacement.
I am still keeping a list of those that wish to be informed on a new set of seals and I will continue to communicate with Steele on the progress.

That's great you found someone willing to do it. Have they given you a projected cost (one year from now) for the seals? How many do you need to have made?

Welcome, and please let's see how you spliced together the 82 Camaro seals? I have a t-top car with no seals whatsoever. I'd like to have something until the new ones come on-line, (which may be never).

Yes, lets see a "how to" on this. I may go this route, instead of the Mustang. Include pics if you can.

Did I say I would take two sets? What is it going to take to get these made.
