As so, the meeting is still set for the 26th of Febuery, at Chili's. Everyone is invited. The event will begin at 1PM. I will be there even if it is only me and my friends. I am sadden by your remarks, that you would not come back to read the remarks of the people who have been in this for years, or truly gone the distance to read what your son wrote at 1:00 PM then again at 3:00 PM and so on. You express that we need to get a life, but you need to look in your own back yard or son’s room first.

I wish you could have read the verbal abuse your son handed out in public view including your home phone number. It is easy to review a group from a distance and make remarks.

But unless you have done the circuit, gone to the shows, respect the “older” members then you are missing the point. This post is not an attack on you or your son, but a response to uniformed beginning members, once you relize that you arrived late that day, and we had been in the parking lot for a while before you showed up sweating, maybe you then would understand why we went to “drink” to cool off.

After eating we do break up and go separate ways due to distance of the member that travel from Raleigh or Charlotte, they do not have the luxury of 5 miles and you are home.

I agree by brining in younger blood perpetuates the sport, but not a the cost of the members already involved. Yes I was upset; you did not read what your son wrote.

You earn respect, it is not given. By the way I was not going to mention this but your son out right lied about who wanted to go where. Period.

Once you read his original posts then come back and talk to us. No one here is a prima Donna but, you are talking without seeing both sides of this given situation.

At least you came on to discuss, but left without hearing both sides. Sad.

Well my life starts at about 3:00 am each morning for a great workout at the gym until about 6 am before going to the office for a ten to twelve hour day. Be careful of assumptions.

I agree with Rverhalen, Your son edited his post that was full of piss and vinegar. Too bad you did not see it... but then again, you will not see this either.

This meet is over, cancelled something else will be worked out. I dont need or want something like this tarnishing the image I want to create for this group. And right now this isnt helping one bit. I will work something else out at some other location. And those of us who attend will have a good time and share our love of these little cars. Thank you all and i consider this thread now over.
