I went around and took pictures of all the tables at the main event. I was just looking them over and I'm not sure if the subjects would necessarily appreciate me posting these candid shots...
Did anyone notice the bridges we went across? Some of them are impressive works - like this one:

That is Bixby Bridge... One of the most photographed sites on Highway 1. I have looked for three years to try to find a way to get a picture of Fieros with that bridge in the background but there is just no way.
Here is a picture of the group taken on the way North.
I think we have to rely on the individual pictures taken to see the rest of the people who were there. We were so rushed after lunch that we didn't get a good group shot. It was a great group anyway!

Is there any way we can post pictures of ourselve with our call name??? Wish I knew everyones name and their Pennocks call name. Or maybe standing next to their respective Fiero. Just a suggestion.
Hey everyone! This is Brianna (Dale and Rie's daughter) and I am now up and running. I've seen some great pictures! And not just the ones Dale posted but all of them. Thanks to everyone! I had a great time. This was not my first trip to the Coast Run but it was my first time to go on the ride and I loved. I can only hope I'll have my own Fiero soon and have it ready for next year! Take care everyone and in the words of my dad "I'll see yall round the forum"

Mary and I finally made it home. We got to Paso Robles just fine on the bad tire. I went to Walmart and had both fronts replaced. Janell, Kaleen and Pokey hung out with us. While they were doing the tires, we went to a movie (Zathura, fun movie). Mary and I spent the night at the house in Hollister, so we could meet with the draftsman/designer this morning, and got back to Hayward abour 12:30.
Thanks again to Dale and Rie for another great run.

I know there are a lot more Pictures out there. Lets get them posted.
Next year we need to get some video in a few cars. Front and rear. I would kill for some video of some of the stuff we did this year. Is there anyone here proficient in this field that could help set it up????? I don't mean a few seconds here and there I mean a few hours of vid from several different cars. Damn that would rock!!!!

Hey Daniel you kikd ass. But I must admit I'm happy to hear Brianna will be in her own car next year. Heck kiddo I won't take a passenger with me when I'm racing. I can't wait till next time when we can roll again. I was kinda pissy when Tinay (spddy) said he wasn't taking the return trip with us but then you guys (fastback,Steven Snyder and you)made the trip back a blast.
Hey Scott(fastback86) Thanks for not leaving me in the dark driving by brail.
Also I can't remember the fellows name he is pepe la skunk or something like that on here. Has a real nice car and it hauls azz. Anyway You was hauling butt dude.

Everything was so organized. There were some really nice Fieros there so I can't wait till next years run and hopefully by that time i'll have my Fiero ready with all the mods and ready for another Coast cruise!!
Thanks everyone!!

Hey, you were fine weren't you? Besides, if you kept up better, it wouldn't have been a problem.

Hey PePe LeSkunk here! Lol! (Thanks Pokey...) Well I made it back up north all in one pieces and it was a very pleasant and strangely short trip too. The run with all of you guys and gals was awesome. Everything was perfect, the weather, the people, and the road. Since the cars have been pretty well covered by those that have posted photos already, I'll attempt to post some alternate views of the run here.
And thanks a ton to our hosts and to our sponsors, you guys ROCK!

Ya well uhm I guess I'll try and keep up better next time. But if I could keep up why would I be called Pokey anymore? Maybe I just need a faster car that might help. I got a year to figure it out

Hey Pokey, You asked about taking video while driving. I thought of one possible method. With a laptop and a good USB-2 or Fire wire web cam you could capture some very long videos (if you use windows media encoder set up to capture in real-time). I've done this with my desktop PC and a good USB-1 web cam. The camera could be mounted on the exterior of the car (provided that it’s not raining) and a long cable attached. It sounds like a fun project. Makes me kinda wish I had a laptop and a better web cam.
Marty
PS Thanks for the good words earlier... I was majorly impressed with your driving prowess as well. I'm sure I couldn’t handle your car as well as you did. You must have gotten some serious practice in a 911 or something.

Hey pokey- The ride with Daniel was fun…he got me out alive like he promised which was good! (kept my mom from killin him) I agree the ride back was really a blast and I wasn’t even driving. But even when I have my own car next year I don’t think I’ll be keepin up with you, I want to survive next years run And pokey, I can honestly say you’re the only person I know who drives by feelin the bumps in the road (brail).

Thats how we know it was a good run - Rie didn't have to bust out any krago-mago or whatever and kill any of us for driving like maniacs. Course, there is a difference between being good and not getting caught...

We intended to have video this year but that fell under one of the things that got mixed up. We were supposed to have two digital video cameras and two digital still cameras. Friday morning when we were packing I asked Marie where the other two cameras were and she said she had taken them to school and forgotten them. So I figured one of each would be enough. Friday night I was going to hook up the video camera to let the battery charge and I realized that I had the chargind cable for the OTHER camera! So no video.
Marty. I talked about strapping a camera to my T-bar last year too. I guess Marie would have had to held it this year since we were in a convertible. Video would certainly be cool although it would still fall way short of the real thing. Being able to see all of the cars going along the road together AND the scenery is what makes this such a great road for the Run.
I can't speak for Marie but I had a great time and enjoyed meeting and hanging out with all of you. And yes, next year will be even better!

Everyone who came to the Coast Run just earned a positive rating from me (most already had one anyway). This was such a great group! Everyone earned it! I want to see these new folks get their ratings bar!

I would love to have a cam mounted outside the drivers side door. With a shot of the road/front wheel and looking forward
Until someone cut a corner too close and knocked it off! haha
Hey Rick, we drove by the evening and saw the Reatta. We didn't get it back yet because the place was closed. It sure was pretty sitting out there with that shiny new red paint job though!
Yep i got the sway bar Now i just got to get it installed over my thanksgiving break. Well when brianna gets her fiero and you get the reatta, i guess ill have to make a trip over there to check them both out. Who did you have paint the reatta dale? Was it the same place that painted marie's car.

Same company, different location... Maaco. We were very happy with the Fiero they did and from what I saw of the Reatta this weekend I am thrilled! As I said in another thread, just give them plenty of time. Both times they ran over the predicted time and got me in a bind for an event.
