Since I might do a TDC swap, I'm thinking that I will at least have to replace the tach since the stock tach wont come anywhere near the TDC's sky high 7k rpm capability. Also thinking that if I'm going to replace the tach I might as well get a twin speedo while I'm at it so I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone's put in new gauges. If you have pics I'd love to see them and I'd like to know what size and if there was any extra work like triming needed to install them in dash. I'm mainly interested in in-dash gauges. Thanks.
Dont know if you are into the digital thing but here are mine. Tom Sweet out of Florida makes these. Mine work great! I can get you more info if interested

Here ya go! Tom Sweet 727-548-1132 tbsb9595@worldnet.net.att My gauges were about $650 a year ago
Excellent guy to deal with. I had trouble with the temp gauge reading accurately. It was never anything with the gauges but a poor ground. Tom worked with me through this issue and made sure it was resolved even though his gauges were fine. Ran an additional ground from the gauge and all works excellent now.

new guages? nah - but I recrystal the speedo and change the sweep of the tach with new laminated backlit guage faces
Do you have any pics by chance Koburn? I like the ones rverhalen posted but I have a carbon fiber dash kit and I'd like to keep it so that wont work without getting it recovered somehow. This is why I was concerned about any triming/cutting that might have to happen putting in aftermarket gauges. Still, even though I've never been to much of a digital gauge fan, I keep looking at the one Rverhalen posted. I've never seen those before and I like something that looks different.
It's been quite a while since I did mine, but here's a few things "of the top of my head" that you might want to keep in mind:
Be careful of the gauge depth if you are keepng the stock dash. The printed circuit that runs around the back is non-negotiable if you get guages that are too deep.
Be sure that the guages you get have a feature to let you calibrate them yourself, instead of taking them to a speedo shop. The ISSPRO tach I got has a simple switch for the number of cylinders, and the speedo has a digital feature in the odo window.
Do not bypass the factory speedometer buffer when you change the speedo or your cruise control might not work.
If you do a search on the subject I think you will find a lot of info and even pics - this seems to be a pretty common thing people post about.
rverhalen Oh yes gotta have it! More info please and for god sake dont let my wife find out or she will make me sleep with the Fiero. On the other hand....................

oddly enough i don't think I have any pics of them in a car.. I'll be doing another set for my current TDC buildup - they are actually pretty simple and have always turned out looking good - and who doesn't like looking into a fiero to see a 150mph speedo

Sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. I wish you had pics of them. When you do them for your own swap, would you mind sending me a pic? I've got an email out to a custom gauge place right now thanks to Fieromadman but I'm interested in something like you're talking about. I really don't want to change the look of the dash so much. I'd love it if they looked completely factory just with 140-150 MPH speedo and a tach that goes to 7500 or 8k.
best I can do right now for ya is a low res version of the image I used to make the last kph compatible set.. for mY next set i'm leaving that off and just having mph
