You could just set that fancy controller up to determine shift firmness based on how long you hold the shift button.

tap it for less than half a second and it barks the tires.... hold it for two seconds and it gives you a buttery Cadillac shift...

I think it is time for a new video
I looked it up in my shop manual to see how to get a firmer shift. If I disconect the Pressure Control Solenoid Valve controlled Power Feed wire RED/BLK #1228 at pin C on the 20-way Connector at the top of the tranny just under the X over pipe the line pressure will raise up to 234psi. What I plan to do is add a switch that will direct current throu a set of resitors that will alter the amp's to the PCS. Full pressure of around 234psi is at 0 amp and 1.1 amp will lower line pressure to around 50 psi. The switch will have two or three settings that will give a totaly stock setting to totaly maxed out setting by useing a set of resistors to modify the PCM's current that is being sent to the PCS. If I add a resistor to the curcut the line pressure will raise, if I add another resistor in series the line pressure will raise a little more and if I open the curcut the line pressure will be maxed out. I am sure it wont be a good idea to run at full line pressure, that would be for raceing only but some were inbetween stock and raceing is were I want to be.

Sweet! I wanna see the video of the *FIRST TIME* you go with max pressure

btw - don't forget that your resistor(s) will probably need to dissipate 6+ watts.

I just watched those. That setup you have is awsome!
It sounds a bit like a stock fiero automatic... Which is fitting.
