Heck, I was behind Archie in line at the registration desk and then I saw him several times at the show. Didn't see any "mastermind" running around, that's for sure.

Oh well!

Yep

Sure whatever dude, I forgot Fierorama and the rest of the world revolves around you ole great one.

Bottomline, when I didn't see you near your GT40 I figured I'd use my time looking over the other Fieros not looking for you Cletus.

So... who did you actually introduce yourself to? - otherwise, you have just proven yourself as being chicken! There's no reason at a show with roughly 100 PFF members, that you didn't bother to say "hi" to anyone from the board.

What?!? After all the stuff you spouted in past threads you didn't bring your car? After all the bragging about how your 4.9L V-8 was the best combo, you didn't bring it? How long were you even at the show? An hour or two?

Well I guess this comment:
"BTW Anyone questioning whether or not I have a 4.9 your questions will be answered as I WILL be at NIFE's September meeting in Oakbrook, IL "
and
"I'll be at NIFE's September meet in Oakbrook, IL"
and
"I'll see you guys in Oakbrook, IL"
and let's not forget
"Archie, I plan on introducing myself to you personally."
and
"I plan on coming out to NIFE's meet to enjoy the company of other Fiero enthusiast including Archie. And yes I'm going to personally introduce myself. "

All are from this thread:
https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/044044-3.html

I doubt he has a 4.9L Fiero and by the above posts, he can't even keep his word on introducing himself to anyone.
Well at least we now know you are not a person of your word, which means you are most likely lying about having a 4.9L Fiero.
Yes we are still questioning the validity of you even having a Fiero let alone a 4.9L in it.

I've always been interested in Fieros but I say around the end of August I decided to actually change that interest to actually looking to buy one. I found this site and joined early september about a week(?) before the show. You have over 1000 posts and I only had about 10 when I found out about the show and I even introduced myself to a couple PFF people and prolly others(that I didn't know they're PFF names but still) like LS1 Troy, Fiero Brian, and others. I even in my short time being on this board before the show found out what Archie looked like, I didn't introduce myeslf but I ran into him like I ran into Fieros lol. All I know is, I don't have the right to since I haven't been here that much, but I would like to just say that this "guy"(kid) is just BSing. I mean if I bragged that much as one above poster pointed out like he did, then I would of brought my car.

On a side note, got my Fiero Rama 2004 pictures developed They turned out great, kinda wished I woulda bought a 2nd disposable camera lol. Once I figure out how to scan the pictures to actual size and not it making them tiny, I will post them.

if you talked to me, i'm sorry if i was a jerk.
i was in a foul mood because my vacation was Xed and i knew in the back of my mind that i had to drive 9 hours back home when the show ended, and go to work after 3 hours of sleep.

Gee, I didn't know it was mandatory to show proof to you guys that I attended a NIFE meet. Now if I were attending a PFF meet perhaps you would have a point.

BTW No one introduced themselves to me as "Hi I'm Oreif from PFF'". It went more like "I'm Tom, nice meet with lots of nice cars huh? This sun is killing me"

In any case, I feel no further obligation to prove I was there or that I own a 4.9 because I was and I do.

You mis-read what I was saying, You specifically stated you AND your car would be there AND you would personally introduce yourself to Archie. You did NOT keep your word. It is generally accepted that if you do not keep your word, then you are most likely B.S.'ing the rest of your comments. In your particular case the fact that you have a 4.9L Fiero.

You seem to always state that Archie doesn't keep his word and is B.S.'s customers and yet you do the same thing.
People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

As for introducing ourselves, I always mention that I am Oreif on PFF but most people already know who I am because I always display my Door Tabs and it is widely known who makes them.

funny,
they pass out PFF stickers for name tags, as well as your name. You could get them at the registration table.

I'd guess its close to 75% of the people at that show are members of PFF. Just because they dont post, doesnt mean they dont read or register.

Usually when I introduce myself, its Hi, I'm joe, I go by KissMySSFiero on PFF. Usually people say its nice to put a face to the person they've seen on here.

btw, by not introducing yourself, you miss out, not us.

As much as I hate to share this... I've been PM'd by another PFF member whom I consider trustworthy & knowledgable, and I know was in attendance because I spoke with them personally at Fierorama. They can confirm that they saw someone wearing a PFF nametag marked "mastermind" (which I can only imagine was you, or someone having a huge laugh). Although I do suspect it was you, as the description I was given was not far off from what I'd expect. Odd thing though... I was told that this member later asked if you had met Archie - and you said "yes" (apparently lying, yet again).

So, why'd you chicken out from making yourself known to most people? Did you expect a lynching?

First time we met I missed the "Hi, I'm joe" part when you introduced yourself to me.

Tina
BTW I thought the PFF name tags were a great idea.
Got a little confusing when a few people used them instead of the regular "Hi, my name is ..."
and I started chatting about the forum and in turn recieved a blank look.
On the bright side though, ... looks like we might be seeing a few new names around here.

My favorite part was the drive there, I was on 83 cruising with two 88's when I looked in the rearview mirror. I saw a Ferrari and thought to myself, cool a kit car. But when he passed me it was a real Ferrari F40. Best part is when we were in the turning lane to cermak road the guy in the Ferrari waved to us. It shcoked the guy in the lead Fiero so much that he stalled his car (I know because I talked to him later about it). Ed

Youre right about that.

As for the username thing, I don't have that problem. I say, "Hi, I'm Ed Hering"--and I've just given 'em my name AND my PFF username...I knew there was a reason I picked such an unimaginative username.

Sorry to disappoint you MG but....that wasn't me. But if you want to use him to put a face on my user name go right ahead.

Oreif I'm not the only one that didn't meet everyone.....

BTW I did see your car and the multicolored pins you had setup by your car. Which was next to another guy selling various parts like used sun visors, tires/rims and the DVD from the 20 Anniversary show in Pontiac. You all were close to Rodney Dickman and his trailer which was about 100 feet from a Fiero skeleton belonging to the Fierofarm.

Well, bottom line is that you lied to this whole group.

You told everyone you were going to personally introduce yourself to me, & you DIDN'T.

You said you were going to show your Fiero 4.9 at Fierorama & you DIDN'T.

You had these 2 chances to prove you are a man of your word & you DIDN'T.

As far as I'm concerned, everything you've ever said on PFF in the past & everything you can say in the future, will be suspect of being lies also.

Looks like I had you pretty well figured out from the get go.

Cletus, you are the last person I'd ever take any advice from, so save it. I didn't see you big deal.. it's not like your some kinda ace mechanic or something. To me you are nothing more than a crude, rude dude that Fiero community has made into a popular business. Lucky you.

I know Pete mentioned to me that Mastermind was suppose to be at the show. I asked him who he was and he said he didn't know. He said his car wasn't in the show that he knew of. I talked with several people at my car but no one with that user name introduced themself. I had many other people say who they were on the forum. Also, several people I talked with knew nothing about the forum so I gave out the web address. So if I talked with this Mastermind person, I did not realize it.

Becky neither you or Pete was at your car when I saw it. I talked to you and Pete up in Pontiac at the 20th Anniversary show. It's nice tho. BTW where did you get that black cover that hides the bottom of the trunk?

The bottom of my trunk has been removed and what you saw is black carpet on the what is now the bottom of the trunk. Maybe we'll get to meet up next time.

Gee Cletus, I'm crushed. It just hurts so deeply to be insulted by my hero Mr. Slack Jaw. Gosh, I don't know how I'm gonna go on with my life now that I know you no longer believe me.

I didn't say you had to MEET everyone, I said:

So fine you were there, But you still didn't have your car there as you assured everyone here you would. You did not introduce yourself to Archie as you assured everyone here you would. If you cannot keep your word 2 out of 3 times, Then how are we to believe anything you say? Going by the 2 out of 3 times would suggest you have a Fiero but it's only a 4-cylinder and not a 4.9L.

BTW ~ They are not pins, They are door tabs.

There you go, true to form, He's back to the name calling.

Yeah, I called you a liar, but that wasn't name calling, it was a statement of fact.

So why don't you see if you can send this thread to the trashcan too, like you have so many others'.

Yep, that probably what the guy in the 2004 Acura TL thought the other night, until I blew his doors off.

BTW I saw your orange and dark blue tabs. There were others but those are the ones that I remember catching my eye.

Going by the 2 out of 3 thing again, It was probably an Acura TL, but most likely it was a girl and she blew your doors off.

You just don't get it yet do you? Everyone assumes you are up front with your statements, But once you make statements and not keep your word, You break that trust so now nobody will believe what you say. So now everytime you make a statement, I would only believe 1/3 of what you say.

Cletus, you can gladly dish it out,but you sure have thin skin when anyone calls you by your birth name CLETUS. Too bad...Cletus is one of those unusual, uncommon names for a unusual uncommon one of a kind person. In fact it fits you better than Archie. I think you should change your business name to V8 Cletus and use the slogan.... Conversions by V8 CLETUS nobody can beat us.

As with most things...There are those that have to be totally convinced and there are those that refuse to be convinced. Convincing others is the farthest thing from my mind when I'm crusing in the Fiero. The Acura driver was a male in his mid to late 20's.

Like I said, If you had made the statement BEFORE you broke your word, I would have believed you about the race with the Acura.
The problem is it has been PROVEN that you are NOT be able to keep your word, So why should we believe you now???
