Im planning on going this year, it will be my first time. I'm already getting excited. I just need a little info on it though. Do you just take you car and park it or do you need to register and stuff? Also what time does it start on Saturday? I'm wondering on how long it will take me to get there. I live near greensburg, PA. I'm probably gonna follow some other Fiero owners up there. I'm really looking forward to seeing some great cars and great people.

Hey man why give away the best secrets?? Seriously that hotel is great. It also has an indoor pool. We stayed there last year during GM nantionals. Also they had the Camaro unvieling dinner there. It was like 7 bucks for a 25 dollare a plate meal. GM picked up the rest. We also got to get a much better look at the new camaro then at the fair grounds with 10000 people all around.

Hey! Great idea!
Haagster, since you sorta volunteered, how about contacting the folks at the Clarion (www.clarioncarlisle.com) and see if we could block 10 rooms? They have a ringing endorsement from several folks.
Email me if you have questions on that (bobschlag@fieropride.com).
Oh yeah, since you know the area - any suggestions for Saturday evening sitdown meal? We've been goign to the Longhorn Steak House, any thoughts for elsewhere?

I really want to be there but it's kinda up in the air for me. I'm getting hitched in Cancun on the 4th and when we get home we are having a reception on the 18th. I might be able to sneek away for at least the morning. Wish me luck!
I think it's your typing that is recognized. Who are you and where do you live?

I'll check with the Clarion tomorrow and let you know. Did you know the Longhorn isn't a buffet anymore??? They remodeled (only 1/2 the place is dining now) and are serving a "normal" steakhouse type menu. The food is still good, but where my wife and I used to go eat for $25 now costs about $32 (lots of food, but it's not all you can eat buffet). That is still about the best place for a group to go and be able to sit together for dinner and would certainly be my suggestion. There is a Chinese buffet across from Weis market on High Street that is good. The buffet at the Cancun Mexican Restaurant (beside the War college) is pretty good but not a lot of seating. Sunnyside Rest. is a little pricier, but the food is Excellent. Three McDonalds, Two Wendy's, Hardees, BK, Taco Bell, Friendly's, Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut, Domino, etc etc...

You're certainly welcome to join as a spectator. For details of admisssions, check out the Carlisle Productions website - www.carsatcarlisle.com.
The Fiero show is held within the Carlisle Import/Kit/Replicar Nationals, so the owners of the fairgounds control admission and gates. Once you're in, MAFOA only charges a small fee to enter the Fiero competition. More details on that will be released soon. Check out www.fieropride.com for the latest on the Fiero show (not much there yet).

I WILL be there too to defend my 1st Place trophy last year. Seems I reall got my work cut out for me this year, alot of competition, not that last year was tough. Its getting tougher EVERY year now. Just hope that NorthStar is late again this year. Mine will also be alittle updated also.

Hmmm . . . I got a commitment from Archie to display Stinger . . . and he wants to compete for a trophy! I'm thinking we should maybe combine modified fastback and and notchback into one class, just to tighten the competition and make things interesting. What do you say, Bill, interested? That way you and Earl can both compete against him.
