Let's see what kind of useless information we can get about our beloved little Fiero's.
My most obscure fact that I know about Fiero's is that some Fiero's come with a 3-piece (Blue White and Black) wiring harness, while others, (I think it's only 88's) come with one solid black connector.
Bring on the info!!

I'm proud of the fact that my 85SE has 1.25lbs. of mouse $#!T in the left-hand headlamp bay. Not 1lb. Not 2lbs. But 1.25! I'd day that's the optimum amount to have. Too little and the front lifts. Too much and the tires wear unevenly. I'm thinking of reproducing it and designing a kit so that others can benefit.

Due to the manufacturing process the width between the frame rails can vary insignificantly somewhere around 1.5 inches. I learned that one from V8Archie! Who would have ever thought.

I got that beat, when I took my interior apart, I found just over three bucks in loose change mixed in with the shifter set up and cables, plus two gigantic roaches and a pack of zig-zag papes... I wonder what the previous owner was doing in my car???? pretty funny though...

That thing under the front hood that looks like a light socket and is near the A/C dryer is the underhood light. Plug a bulb into it (same as all the others on the car) and you have an underhood light, even if your car wasn't equipped with one.
Who knew ?

I'll have you know that anytime you buy a fiero from IL, you will diffently get money back from the car!(because of all the tolls of course!) Infact the biggest pay back from a car I purchased from IL $7.52 a pot pipe, 2 wrapped pieces of big red, 11 scratch off tickets(no winners), over a dozen toothpicks ( and it shifted just fine, the least $2.61 and (15) 2 year old frenchfries!
the factory alarm on the 88s sounds like a horn but is infact a different box underneath the front hood... who would have knew..
the fuse box has clips on it and pulls down vertically for easy fuse access, do you know how much of an idiot I felt like when I would be cramped under the dash with a flash light when someone told me that.
there is an "emergency" hood release directly behind the regular hood release incase your line breaks. its just a silver wire back there that you can pull that is no way connected to the handle!
the key will pull out once in the on postiton so that you can use it to open your trunk! you can also turn the car off so that it is not on acc. but does not need the key to restart.
ok.... I have too much time lol
one more: you can keep the headlights flipped up by turning them on, and only pushing the silver part of the switch down so that the parking lights are on and the headlights up.

I found that out yesterday. I was in a hurry to start my car, I apparently turned the ignition when the key was only halfway in. I was like, I took the key out, motor still running. I turned it off and restarted it again without the key. Figures if the ignition is not in the locked position, it can be started without it. I gotta start my habit of pushing the lever thingy to lock the ignition. :P

In the 84's the instrument panels bulbs are 3W, while 85-88 they are 5W.
the lock-nut key from the 84 alloy rims will not fit in the GT style rims (honey com) It's just slightly larger the the opening so you can't fully screw the threads to the nut for installation. Also, 84 was the only year the lock-nut keys screws onto the lock-nut!

The lightest Fiero is the 85 SE. I am not sure however if that includes the 4 cyl. and 6 cyl. The heaviest is the 88 GT. That is what I was told. So if you were modifiying your Fiero for maximam power, always choose the 85's.
Another fact: In the year 2017, the price of Fieros will dramitically increase in value, similar to the way early Mustangs and the T-Birds of the 1950's did in the last decade.

When I removed the passenger seat of my 88 coupe I found some spare change that was all moldy and green, a wrapped tampon, a plastic comb, some phone numbers on paper, a pack of zig-zag papers, and THE BIG FIND (a small bag of pot - )

Hehehe! [b]Now you know why "those idiots" printed all the markings on the fuse box "upside down," too
My ignition key doesn't seem to come out with it in the "ON" position on any of my (4) Fieros... did on both of my Cavaliers, though! Go figure...

Theres three different chimes that do your seat belt, headlight, and key-in-ignition "ding....ding" sound. Very weird. But not a bad piece of info from a stang guy eh?

The headlights in Fieros switch between high and low beams not with a relay like in every other car, but with a solid state transistor device! You cannot have one on at the same time as the other.
The 87-88 headlamps can be 'ajusted' to come up to any height you want. you can make the lights open 'halfway'

It was going to be called the 'Pegasus', and that's why the nose badge appears as it does. They took the time to change the name, but not the logo designed to go with the name they had originally chosen.
