Years of hard work are paying off. It's going to the DSM shootout in a couple weeks to see what it runs in Ohio. Here is a video in my driveway.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kor3CAcomn4

I'll get to the dyno at some point, it should do 320whp on a Mustang Dyno.

Zedder24....I'm anxious to see how you modify the trunk lid to address the intercooler position. Are you planning vents (top or side) or some sort of grill to get air movement back there? Post pics when you get around to that aspect. Thanks!

I finally had some time to work on this. Brought it up to a Mustang Dyno today to get a baseline run.

For reference's sake, my Talon did about 320whp on this dyno and ran 11.70 @ 119.

The Fiero has DSMLink v3, 950cc injectors, 044 fuel pump, 20g turbo, FP2x cams, C16 gas and other basic stuff.

After all was said done today, we ended up at 21psi and 308whp on this dyno, A:F was about 10.7:1 to 11.6:1. Dave is going to email me the dyno graph and I'll post that whenever I get it.

Wow, did not expect the bump to be you posting dyno sheets! Awesome work. Any updated vids?

Do you know how much the talon weighed when it ran the 11.70? Sounds like the Fiero should still be an 11 or 12 second car regardless!

My Talon weighed 3080# with me in it when it ran 11.70.

The shifting is a lot clunkier on the Fiero, I'm expecting low 12's at 120mph.

I've heard about you, outside of this forum.

I was partying it up in Fitchburg one time, and had my Fiero with me; a group of guys at a shop were looking over my car and was talking about someone swapping in a 4g63 into one. I said it couldn't be done cheap but hell.

I'd love to come see it sometime, I'm on the line of N.Attleboro and RI.

12.634 @ 89.88, lifted just after the 1/8 because it got very squirrely. Blew an intercooler pipe too... oil all over the back of the car. 1.671 60'

New turbo, brakes and suspension on the way, hopefully another pass before the end of the year.

7.757 @ 92 in the 1/8, so if I stayed in it, I would have been around 11.7-11.8 @ 120.

Video on Facebook under the New England DSM group here: http://www.facebook.com/groups/180783608627354/

YouTube HD link hopefully tonight.

Just noticed this long thread.

Those are great engines, although the availability of the Ecotec in various turbo versions often makes that a better choice these days.

Had a ride in a done over Talon once and was quite impressed.
