I know there are a bunch of threads for this subject but I'm going to post anyway.

I just replaced the hinges and rubber washer gaskets for all the sunroof hardware. I then soaked my car with the hose. It seems I am getting leaking from the 2 rear corners of the sunroof. I have an 84 and I don't have the drainage holes drilled so I guess my next step is to replace the sunroof rubber and drill drain holes

Yes, this should fix your problem. It did on my '85GT and I replaced nothing just drilled holes. Make sure that the holes are drilled outside the gasket, inside won't hurt anything but won't stop the leaking problem. The water must drain away before it can get deep enough to compromise the seal.

I had leaks after installing my factory sunroof and it still leaked slightly after installing new gaskets and drilling the corner holes. It wasn't till I bent the sunroof tabs in very slightly and cut one inch pieces of an old spark plug and put them in each corner that finally solved my leak. It closed MUCH tighter. Thank Archie for the "spark plug" trick! https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Archives/Archive-000001/HTML/20020511-2-016868.html

Drill the holes. My 84 leaked on my console and after I installed a Sub woofer in the console I HAD to fix the prob. Two holes on each corner and all the water runs around the gasket.

Somewhere, there's a tread with an illustration or picture showing exactly where to drill the drain holes. Anyone have the url handy?
The sparkplug wire thing sounds pretty good too.

So if I drill the holes where everyone is saying where does the water go? It seems like it will drip on somthing and cause rust? ANy thoughts? Also the rubber part of my gasket sits pretty tight on the corners so i don't see how the water is going to find it's way under the gasket to the hole?
