Chris Moore ? Are you serious !?!? Take a look at the email I got from him when I even asked.

"Well first off, I have been doing these conversions now for 6 years. I have
many, many hours of engineering in this. I get paid for my services so that
is why I am hush hush. I would be more than happy to sell you a modified
cradle for $1500.00. I can also get you what you need or just do the
conversion for you. I start at around 13,000.00. THanks

Chris"

..and then after that, he sent this...

"Well if you have done "countless" engine swaps then you shouldn't have any
problems figuring it out on your own. If you do need anything let me know.
I sell individual parts needed for the conversion.

Chris"

Sorry..but I've found Will to be a LOT more helpful. He's not trying to make a MILLION DOLLAR profit on a FORUM (which is normally meant to help people)....

Yea...I blasted him (C.Moore)...so what.

Not to start a flame war but what is so wrong about someone being tight-lipped about giving info about swaps or modifications that they may have spent alot of money and countless hours of R&D on?
Some people do this for a hobby and love to share, some do it as a business, whether its a side business or more than that and naturally want to keep it to themselves.
I looked at your webpage and the work looks nice so if you can figure out how to fit a 4.9 caddy into a Lumina then you should be able to do the N* swap in a Fiero.
Again, don't take this wrong, I am doing a swap also, although much different than yours and the help on this forum is invaluable but not everyone wants to help and that's ok, just find those willing to share and let the rest go.

The only beef I had is he could have replied a little nicer...don't be anal about it. I was insulted that he even suggested me buying a pre-fab cradle from him. The main reason I asked was for "TIPS"..everyone likes to see photos....I didnt ask for a complete walk thru on the swap. Like I said, I wasn't aware that the Northstar was such a forbidden subject on this forum. But as an FYI, when this swap is complete, there will be a DETAILED webpage with photos and wiring diagrams for all to see. This is indeed a hobby for me. I have a fulltime job.

Point well taken. I re-read his reply to you and it does seem sarcastic, especially the part where he puts the word countless in quotations.

Thanks man. I really am a nice guy...really...Anyone is welcome to come to Atlanta and hang out at any point. I've had LOTS of visitors from the Citation club and GM 60-degree V6 club come buy for pizza and drive the monsters

I'm not saying I am a KNOW-IT-ALL, but I don't like my intelligence insulted either.
