It's time to chime in, and start thinking about an escape from the snow to the sunny "warm" beaches of Florida in March.

FWIW: The November show seems to have a much bigger swap meet and draw. We do both most years and the March show has a "little brother" feel compared to the Turkey day show. Why not make a break for both?

Because our Fiero are not old enough to participate in the Thanksgiving Turkey Rod Run. It would be nice though

Well, this is nice being able to post in a Daytona thread! I think I may actually have a drivable Fiero by the time Daytona rolls around! So, if all goes well, count me in for my first Daytona Show!

AH-HA! I never noticed that. We usually bring the hot rod to the shows so I've never noticed. Thanks for the enlightenment!

The wife and I plan to make this our 5th year in a row. Plus we will have our newest with us. We have had a blast the last 4 years and made some great friends, we look forward to it every year. Last year was probably the best year we have had there as far as turnout, company and the experience.

Well if Joe's going then I'm in

I have a job now but I'll see what i can do for a day or 2 off

Maybe we can slam some mojito's then go race go-karts?

Weeeee

Oh and Blacktree pretty much said and I quote "Nobody can beat me in go-karts - Nobody!" Then his eyes glowed red - So I hit him in the head with a shovel
True story...

The last time I can remember slamming mojitos before racing go-karts at Daytona, I got run over and wrecked (several times) by a renegade 10 year old! I want him bad this year!

Why Alex's car of course! Sell your car? Really? How come?

Actually, I'd make the trip to see the Piranha, Carlo's car, Madcurl's Northstar chop, and Kathryn's project. I went to Daytona last Spring as I was in the area taking my niece and nephew to Disney World (Never again! It was like herding cats!). Who knows, maybe the wife will want to go and see her sister in Jacksonville, FL again?

We extended an invitation to Curly, but I cannot guarantee he would make the 3000+ mile drive from So Cal. It already appears attendance will exceed last year. There will be more variety of activities and an awards banquet, just like back in the good old days.

Are we doing a betting pool on whether Dean will be showing up?

I'd love to come, but that's an awfully long drive from Phoenix, and I've already done one long drive this year from Detroit, lol.

It's not far from Phoenix. Just go south through Tucson and Wilcox, and you're practically there. Haha

Already made the hotel reservations. Just have to register my 88 T-top. Winter has arrived in New England........several inches of snow on the ground since yesterday and it's cold. It's will be nice to escape to the warm weather and see friends.
