Excellent show, Lots and lots of cool cars. Seen and met many PFF members. It was amazing how many people traveled to the show. There was a very good turn-out from a few Canadian members. Hope Joe made it home with the rod knocking duke. And I really enjoyed the ride in crazyd's car Saturday!!! (Thanks Dave!)

After the show, I was right behind you at the light there at 22nd and Midwest Road; some car in the next lane had a kid in the rear seat counting all the Fieros stopped at the light.... One, two, three, four, etc etc...

It was a good turn-out and definatly worth my time! I particularily enjoyed the illinois traffic jam at 2 in the morning on I-88 on the way to pick up Paul V's car with no brakes...

This party started Saturday afternoon, well before the show today (Sunday). I also got to meet a few new faces, and was happy to be a part of the gang. Thank you to everyone in all the clubs who put this together! (especially the Wisconsin people! )
It was a pleasure to be a part of the show.

I took just over 150 pictures, not really sure I should just start posting them? Wisconsin are weird !!!!! Whats that yelling thing all about, how rude! hehehehe
Just got back about a hour ago.(10:00 central time) and FieroRama was my first car show and it will be my most rememborable. It was frigin awesome. I road along with Adam(Puck) to FieroRama, he's cool, i'm currently trying to get my own Fiero maybe from FieroBrian(I'll be giving you a heads up soon lol). I have so much to say so I will, expect to read a lot lol.
First off for me the cool thing was seeing the Finale body kit in person so I can truly see if I like it or not. I do and it's a awesome kit but I loved everyone elses cars especially the fastbacks(will discuss my plans on my future fiero on another thread).
It was cool meeting some of the more well known people. It was cool seeing the chick with 383 Fiero, it was NICE!! Didn't get to talk to Tina, but she had a nice car & cool she got that trophy. Met a couple other cool people like FieroBrian, LS1 Troy, and Dave, the guy with the "Predator" Fiero. Sorta talked with that one guy doing a interior swap he was cool.
Also I took a bunch of pictures of everything it seemed lol, I'll make sure to post some pics when I get filmed developed. Also for anyone who didn't know who I was, I was the kid with the tan khaki shorts with a white t-shirt with blue lettering and twin blue stripes on sleeves with Adam the kid with a White hat.
I was amazed at all the V8's, those are some awesome engines. One of the things that made my eyes get wide was seeing whoever had that like 20 lb bottle of Nitrous oxide(nos brand)!! That was a huge bottle of n2o.
Everyone had a lot of awesome cars & etc, don't think I saw one single fiero I didnt' like. It was cool, Adam & I followed Dave(guy with the Predator) and LS1 Troy for a good 150 miles? I fell asleep and they kinda joked at me for a second when we all pulled over to say we're all spilting up to our routes but Troy & Dave are cool lol. Oh and the coolest thing was winning a Haynes 84-88 Fiero Manual, I'll already have a manual for it for when I get mine & etc. I also got 4 of those mugs & gave 1 to Adam. Anyone want to buy 2 mugs?? j/k lol. Well I guess i'll talk to you guys later, need some sleep and just wanted to share some of the things that was cool today(I could go on & on but i'd figured Id stop) so yeah, well later.

just got back (a perfet 8 hour drive) left at 5:40pm and it's not 1:43am i would have had a much better time, but most of the time i spend thinking / dreading having to drive back home tonight so i can be at work at 7am.
there were two or three 4.9s there, i wanted to talk shop with PBJ but i met him when the show was over, he was packing up, and i needed to hit the road.
maybe next time.
and the car from canada with the 3800 and all the chrome was amazing.

You get any dyno numbers or Track numbers yet? Its been 2 years now. I think the fiero community would like to see some numbers from that beast.

I took a ride in it and in all honesty, It really doesn't matter if it has 400hp or 450hp, For a daily driver (which is what Dave uses it for.) The car screams down the road. It is a great feeling being pinned to the seat of a car during accelleration.

Well - we made it home... pulled into the driveway at exactly midnight - not too bad for having left at 5:45pm and making one stop for food & dinner!

That's definitely the first one I was thinking of - LOL!
Another was when my wife & I were hanging around (GIXXER)Bobby, (KissMySS)Joe and others - talking about Joe's rod-knocking 4 banger. He said he's get a ride home and come back for the car later... and my Carissa suggested that he could just "run the distance" instead!
BTW: I shot a few pics - I'll see what I can come up with
I'm glad I got to talk to Jordan again. Thanks for the painting tips.
LOL I was glad to talk to Jordan again too.
Minngreengt; glad you made it home ok without any incidents.
It was great to see everyone again and, on behalf of the NIFE board, we hope everyone had a good time. The show went smoothly and one of our very own NIFE members of long standing won the best of the midwest 20th ann. trohpy for his all stock 84 Fiero. We had independant judges judge the best of the midwest 84's and were all very suprised and happy that one of our own took that huge trophy. I hope someone has a good picture of this car and trophy to show here. We were happy to see so many states represented and the strong showing by the Canadians was a real treat too. I got to talk to some of them at length and these were some really good people with some amazing cars. I think Joe's right about the people. These shows, to me, are all about the people and that's what i really look forward to seeing. The cars are always amazing but the people are even more so. Lastly, as an activities director, i'd like to say that we love to hear input about what you did or didn't like so we can improve. I thought you'd say that you enjoyed being harassed by the cops at that gas station more. My night in the hotel was also particularly adventursome. How the rest of you slept with Andy snoring is till beyond me. If we had a chainsaw going in there it wouldn't have been any louder. He might have drown it out in fact. lol Seriously though, it was great to see all of you guys again.
Hey MinnGT I have a question dude, I saw your car at the show and saw it was a green hood then when Adam(Puck) and I were leaving I noticed it was...red??? I thought I was seeing things and made a second look & it was green what was that about???
Also who had the Fiero(I think v8 & dark red) with the 20 lb bottle of n2o(nos)!!!! that was a huge bottle. Also on a sidenote anyone know how much those scissor/lambo doors cost for fieros??? And the member name of the guy with the Finale at the show too?

I thought the show was excellent. I enjoyed seeing many from the forum. I saw cars belonging to Tina, PBJ/Becky, Orief and Archie's conversions. I also liked the 67 GTO

Hmmm.....I think I have alot of memories from this trip but one of my favs is the hour long conversation I had with the cop after giving him a description of the two boys that took everyones chrome valve caps. I still can't believe they caught those two kids 5 hours after we saw them. But it was great to meet everyone and put some faces to names.

Great show! Great to meet everyone and meet some new friends!
Oh yeah, my burnout on the way to Baron's.
Brent
Ditto to the great show and making new friends, but are you sure it was the burnout that you did on the way or was it my comment later that night that made it a good memory? I meant no offense by it, it just poped up in my head somehow lol.

i would have really liked to have met you.
i think the next show i go to i will have a pair of radios. one at the car with a sign saying "PUSH THE BUTTON TO TALK" and i'll wear the other one to come back to Ling to Meet people. i just hate it when ther are PFFers at a show and i dont get to meet them face to face.
there were so many people there that i didn't get to meet.
i was there all day, either by Ling or by "the skeleton" that todd from thefierofarm.com brought up.

That is the greatest idea ever!!! lol. I will remember to do that for the 2005 FieroRama (I will 100% own a Fiero WAY b4 then). That is genius man...lol. I would give you a + but it says I have to be a member for 30 days Well i'll give you the + then lol.

LOL - yeah, I'm surprised nobody else mentioned that yet. Mark (Firefox) swapped the hoods during the awards presentation... he's taken the vented hood back home with him to reseal and re-shoot a few spots that didn't turn out quite as well as we'd like (we were kind of rushed when we painted it this past spring).

I believe the huge NOS bottle was in the front of Racetech's 3800 car (the nice red one with the little trailer). And the Scissor doors run roughly $1600 for the Fiero...

No crap... oddly enough everyone else saw & talked to Archie, but nobody seems to have seen you or your car [Mastermind] when asked about. What happened to you being all confident about meeting and introducing yourself anyway? Chicken out?

Agreed. I saw Archie every time i walked across the feild and ran smack into him inside by the registration area and talked to him for a few. He's been pictured on here about a million times and he had a tag that said who he was so it certainly wasn't hard to find Archie. Lotta people were asking me about Mastermind and i checked the 4.9 cars when i had a spare moment and never found him. He did know about the GTO so he must have been there. Oh BTW for those of you who think Archie is such an evil person here's a story for you from the pizza night; someone i knew was telling me he had never met Archie before and that he had heard Archie was harsh with people. Right about then Archie walked up to my friend Jeff, Fieromadman with the 3.4 TDC car and wild paint, right in front of us and told him how much he really liked his paint. I leaned over and said; "Oh you're right, look how mean he is complimenting someones paint that he doesn't even know." lol

There was a Fiero or 2 parked in the McDonalds lot. Maybe he was there, Just was embarassed to show his car. He could have just been a spectator. As for not being able to locate Archie, He was either by his car or over by all the V-8 cars when I saw him. He was not hard to locate at all. How about this? Mastermind, go to NIFE's website and under events is the attendee's pic's from the show. These are the pics of cars as they arrived. Every car that arrived had their pic taken. Just let us know which pic is yours. I am "attendee005".

I do have to say that I have been a memeber for around a year now and its my 3rd show, that is Fiero Bobs, World of Wheels "not a fiero show I know", and now Fierorama. Good luck keeping me away next year! I do have to say that a few of the memeber I talked with are great and really nice-fun people and I am looking forward to seeing you again next month !!!!!!!! Signed, after the pizza party gang
I was there and looked for you Mr. V8 but I didn't see you so I couldn't inroduce myself. .
Hmmmmm, interesting, you never seemed to have any problems following me around on PFF for the last year or more. But yet you can't seem to find me in a parking lot of 136 cars. I kinda think that I was right all along. & that momma wouldn't let the 13 year old geek ride the bus over to Oakbrook for the show & that everything you posted so far about the show is info you gathered from other peoples' posts.
