When we went into Afghanistan after 9/11, they were welcoming us like when the Allies liberated France from the Nazis.....But after we beat back the Taliban, we turned and (Basically) ran off to get Saddam in Iraq....(For invisible WMDs) ....Leaving Afghanistan to go back to the Taliban....
This situation has actually happened many more times in history with Afghanistan....."Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it"

I have a hard time imagining that the situation within and related to Afghanistan would be looking much (if any) better, if Trump had won the 2020 presidential election outright, or if had succeeded in his efforts to subvert the 2020 election results and continue with a second term, as he did in the days after November 3, 2020, and even long before that, succeeded with his attempts to rig the coming 2020 presidential election in his favor with his phony-baloney efforts to restrict absentee or mail-in voting, and his barely disguised and proven impeachable (impeachable, albeit not "convictable") attempt to strong arm the newly elected President of Ukraine into announcing "stuff" that would disadvantage the Democratic possibility that he feared the most--Joe Biden.
