Right now the biggest election to me since Indiana has already gone red is Ted Cruz. We can not set a precedent by allowing someone like beto O'Rourke in. That race is ugly.

McSally is slightly ahead right now, but we have not yet heard from Pima county, which is Tucson, blue and Sinema's home court. So, it does not look good. But, it is still early.
Fox just predicted Cruz for the win.
I'm still seeing the House 114/102 for Republicans, but that is only half of the seats all together.
It is looking good for Republican governors in FL, GA and AZ.
McSally is still holding a very, very small lead. It will be a knuckle biter all night.
I am still holding out hope for the house. It is beginning to look like Arizona's congressional delegation might keep its current balance of 5/4 for the good guys. (But I once thought I saw Elvis in Wal*Mart)

If the Dems take the house, do you think we will turn on the news in the morning to see angry roving bands of conservatives wandering the streets, waving foreign flags, turning over cars and setting things on fire?
I might have to start a protest movement. I think I will call it "occupy the bar stool". Who's with me? We can't wear masks though, it just makes it too hard to drink.
The Marxist criminal, Andrew Gillum was defeated for FL Governorship by Republican Ron De Santis and Governor Rick Scott (R) has ended the 40 year do-nothing reign of Democrat Bill Nelson as a United States Senator for the Great State of Florida.
State AG and CFO offices went to Republicans as well, so ALL of the top Administrative Branch offices in Florida are now filled by Republicans.
Florida now has TWO conservative Republican U.S. Senators, (Rubio and Scott)
The vast majority of FL U.S. House of Representatives seats went to Republicans as well as a huge R majority in BOTH chambers of the Florida legislature.
Florida is well and truly RED tonight.
The U.S. House appears to be lost to leftist hands for now, but the majority of Rs in the U.S. Senate has increased as a solid bulwark against that coming clown show.
RINOS like Jeff Flake and John McCain are GONE from the Senate and with an nicely increased R majority there will be no more obstruction or "Kavanaughesque drama" in the Senate that can stop new appointees for the courts or other posts made by the President.
There will be no successful "impeachment" shenanigans from the now Dem controlled House either.
Heidi Heitkamp (D) paid the price for her Senate vote against Justice Kavanaugh and lost to Republican Cramer.
I'm going to sleep, but it looks like I may well wake up tomorrow to see Tester in Montana defeated as well that lunatic Sinema in Arizona, which will add 2 MORE Republican Senators to the victories....I'll say a prayer.
Long Live The Republic!

Went to sleep knowing Kentucky had done all it could to hold off the California and Massachusetts Liberals that financed a Liberal candidate to represent Kentucky in the House. They wasted a lot of $$$$!
Here in NY we went all blue in state gov't. Now we can become the official California of the east coast. Just 4 more years and I can leave this state behind.
The Florida races were nail-biters. The Governor and US Senator were both decided by less than a percent. Many US House of Reps seats got filled by Republicans. Some state offices as well.
However, all the local races in my area went Democrat. Meh. Plus all of the proposed state amendments were passed... all of them. Some of them are real stinkers, too.
Voters in Virginia's 7th U.S. Congressional District preferred Democratic cuisine, opting for an (Abigail) Spanberger instead of a David "Brat", as the Democrats flipped field position in the House. A mixed metaphor here, for sure.

Yes, we couldn't even get rid of our longtime do nothing Democratic Senator. We had a great candidate, but the power of incumbency over road the need for change. I expected nothing less on the governor side with a youngish female Democrat running for office against a tired worn out Republican.
But, what about the house and the senate on the State side? Are they still Republican?
Utah, of course with it's high LDS population, sent Romney to the Senate. However, a portion of the LDS went against what the church leaders wanted and there was enough of them to pass a Medical Marijuana proposition here in Utah. The state has already released a rough draft of changes they are planning to make to that proposition though. It's a surprise, it passing, because church leaders urged LDS members to vote no. They also pressured the state to come up with a "compromise" bill before the election to try to take some wind out of it passing. Many suspected the state legislature would just start kicking the can down the road once the election was over and Utah would not see any Medical Marijuana legislation passed by them. Last night took care of that.
There was another measure I was keeping an eye on. It was a "do it for our kids" measure ala California style. It was a gas tax increase that was billed as a "school" tax. However if you read the bill it was a "roads" tax and the schools would only see what didn't get spent on road up keep from it. I was rather vocal on the Utah based forums and pages I was on letting people know that this kind of bill is how California slowly went to hell. And what did Utahn's do? We told the government to stuff it with a 66.13% against the measure.
Overall, I'm relatively happy with the way the vote turned out. I'm hoping the state "tightens" up parts of the Medical Marijuana proposition but only to keep us from having marijuana doctors like we saw in California when it passed there. The state has by majority been demanding that some sort of MM legislation to be passed by the state for years now. They kept with the can kicking and the "compromise" was seen as more of that. The voters turned out for basically a "no confidence" vote, so the state and church only have themselves to blame. Really the church is very pervasive in this state as many church representatives were included as part of the design team for the "compromise" proposal pre-election.
However, a portion of the LDS went against what the church leaders wanted and there was enough of them to pass a Medical Marijuana proposition here in Utah.
Next thing you know, they will want recreational coffee.

We will keep our conservative governor Doug Ducey. Of that, there was little doubt. All other statewide offices went red, as well.
McSally has held a small, less than one percent lead all night, so we will not know for sure until every last vote has been counted. That might not even be today.
One seat flipped in the Arizona Congressional delegation. The seat vacated by McSally went to an experienced Democrat who was opposed by a Republican with no name recognition. The balance is now 5/4 for the dark side.
The good news is that we will now only have one dangerously radical far left congressman: Repulsive Raul Grijalva.
Sinema is out of a job for now, but after the first of the year we will have a special election to fill McCain's seat which is currently being held by former Senator and Ducey appointee, Jon Kyl. I don’t know who the Republicans will put up, but it looks like it might be a tough fight.

YUP
They combined a few Florida Constitutional Amendment issues together on the ballot, such as offshore drilling and "indoor vaping".
This will be humorously familiar to Florida voters:
Interesting that south Florida and the surrounding area of Orlando went heavily for Gillum. Most the rest of the state went red, but all the elections were too close for comfort.
How NYS went blue but only NYC, Buffalo, Rochester went blue along with the Ithaca area (Cornell and Ithaca College town). with their liberal socialists milking the "free education" thoughts of their future. I'm was from NYS, but in 2003 so glad I moved.
Trump's press conference... he said something really smart. That it is better, from his perspective, for him to be looking at a solid Democratic majority in the House, than if the Republicans had eked out a majority of just one, two or three more House seats than the Democrats.

And I will say, just as a matter of business, I was with some very successful people last night. We were watching the returns. So if the Republicans won — and let’s say we held on by two, or one, or three — it would’ve been very hard out of that many Republicans to ever even get support among Republicans, because there will always be one, or two, or three people that, for a good reason or for a bad reason, or for grandstanding — we have that too; you’ve seen that. You’ve seen that. Plenty of grandstanding. But for certain reasons that many people — you’re always going to have a couple that won’t do it. So that puts us in a very bad position.
In other words, had we kept it, and this is no — I’m saying this for very basic reasons, common sense — it puts us in a very tough position. We win by one, or two, or three, and you’ll have one, or two, or three, or four or five even, come over and say, you know, “Look, we’re not going to along with this. We want this, this, this…” And all of a sudden, we can’t even — we wouldn’t even be able to get, in many cases, out of the Republicans’ hands before we sent it on to the Senate.
And now we have a much easier path, because the Democrats will come to us with a plan for infrastructure, a plan for healthcare, a plan for whatever they are looking at, and we’ll negotiate. And as you know, it’s been very hard in the Senate because we need, essentially, 10 votes from Democrats, and we don’t get those votes. Because the Democrats do really stick together well. I don’t agree with them on a lot of policy, but I agree with them on sticking together. They stick together great.
So now we go into the Senate. We don’t have the 10 votes. And what happens? It doesn’t get passed. Even if it gets out of the House, it doesn’t get passed. So under the new concept of what we’re doing, I say, “Come on. Let me see what you have.” They want to do things . . .
"This is the Game of Rassilon; to lose is to win, and he who wins shall lose everything."
I think the Doctor Who script writers would have done better to have the word "everything" (or maybe "all") at the end of that little ditty. Then it would make more sense. That's how I would want to remember it.
Now where were we? Something about the elections? Or Trump? Yeah, that's it.
Carry on gents.

Rinselberg is an admitted and unabashed troll, but he is not overtly vicious or hateful.

Now, is there anyone who is surprised that rinselberg believes that extraneous verbiage improves clarity?
I find it interesting that the issues of voter "fraud" seem to center around south Florida run by the Democrats and they always seem to find votes after the election and all the found votes are all for Democrats. Something fishy going on. They must have found the votes from the dead Democrats to add on.
State's Supreme Court just ruled that she violated two Florida Constitutional Laws and issued a court order that stated she MUST allow Republicans in to view the process (as mandated by Florida law), and she's refused. She's now barricaded the door and local police are not letting people in. She's allowed some Democrat party officials in, but has refused to allow any Republicans or any justices of the court in.
They're working right now to get an injunction and get her forcibly remove/arrested and have the state's Attorney General take over. This is ****ing crazy...

Hard as it might be to believe, it gets even CRAZIER.
Here are her people loading Broward County Florida ballots from a line of private cars into a rented box truck in the middle of the night.
ZERO legal chain of custody or oversight.
These are criminals, plain and simple.
I don't know if everyone knows that Brenda Snipes is the Broward County Florida Supervisor of Elections that was found GUILTY of state and Federal crimes this past May for illegally destroying ballots in the 2016 election.
Debbie Wasserman Shultz, David Hogg, Brenda Snipes and many more.....Broward is home to Florida's most virulent and crazy leftists
UPDATE: It also looks like Snipes has barricaded her office with a whole line of those rented box trucks!
Protestors were there earlier today shouting "LOCK HER UP!"
