For years, I resisted Metallica, thinking they would be just another screaming, two chord metal band. When I finally relented, I was surprised at what I heard. They do some pretty good stuff!
Here, they do an interesting cover of my favorite Bob Seger song: (maybe NSFW)

Lavender's Blue (Dilly, Dilly) lyrics have been around for at least 350 years as a children's rhyme. It's been recorded as a song since the 40's and more recently in the 2015 movie "Cinderella". But this is the version I remember by Sammy Turner in the late 50's:

Sounds good, I think a lot of Queen stuff seemed almost written for orchestra.

I checked out some of his other videos, and I'm digging the remake he did of Toto's Africa.

Morgan James is absolutely stunning! Without a doubt, she has one of the most amazing voices of our time, and she is a knockout!

I didn't realize that "All Along the Watchtower" was originally written by Bob Dylan. I've been listening to the Jimi Hendrix version for decades now. I guess you learn something every day.
Bob Dylan is a genius songwriter, but IMO he can't sing worth a crap. So as a result, just about every cover of his songs ends up sounding better than the original.

While mash ups are technically going beyond, versions or cover songs, its still a live recorded altered version.
Thought this was interesting. Even with the accent.
