If you do it with a chainsaw, just make sure you have the pipe secured some how. No need for you getting into a bad situation.

Now would a certain somebody FIX THE DAMN PICTURE that's causing the sidescrolling thing.

If you do use a circular saw, try a fine-toothed blade - backwards. Did a bunch of PVC sheeting that way, and it's a lot less likely to chip and rip the saw out of your hand. Same with a table saw. Flip the blade.
