I have no idea what could be causing these redirects. There's nothing in any of the ad code that should be doing that. The only three third party scripts running on the page is for Facebook (the like button), Google (the ads) and Viglink (monetizes external links for me). None of them alter internal links. I just did some extensive testing in IE and didn't get a single redirect. The fact it only seems to happen in IE makes me believe it isn't coming from PFF or all browsers would be affected.

Hand? Ouchie...

VigLink have many complaints for redirecting. many have no problems, others get them often. I post 1 example above but just web search (viglink remove) to find many more thinking they have malware.
VigLink own opt out page... www.viglink.com/opt-out/

I don't have the redirect issue, so my question is more out of curiosity (or for others)... What is the downside (if any) of disabling VigLink?

Cliff etc won't get money for your use from VigLink.

If you use viglink opt out then you "register" your browser on viglink then viglink sends you a cooky name "vglnk.OptOut.p" that expires in 2025.
This method require you allow 3rd party cookies and scripts just to use the opt out page.

If you block using adblock, NoScript, etc then viglink get no info at all because VigLink scpirts can't run.
