A local car dealer used to have an annual cheapie sale. He bought a bunch of under $200 cars and put them behind his lot. You claimed one by sitting in it till the salesmen came around and collected the money and handed you a title. We bought them a few times and spent the rest of the weekend driving them around and crashing into each other on the streets and the local drive in hangout. These would be great for just driving around and around the block and sideswiping, backing into the front and back of his car making sure no one was watching of course. We actually got some pretty decent cars. I got a cherry 55 olds and a buddy got a nice 64 galaxie. I drove mine across a parking lot full of the spiked down curbs and flattened all the tires and tore off the exhaust before abandoning it. My buddy tried to jump a stream with his and stuck it into the bank...70s was a good time...lol.
