Your world will always be limited by your small-mindedness, your associates will always consist of those that are just as poorly adapted to the world around them too. Your accomplishments will be non-existent and your life a bitter existence. It's time to move on. In your journey into denial, you've already sacrificed your conscience and whatever claim to character you had.
Your pretense at a deity derived morality is mocked by your myopic hatred of the 'other'. Your concept of patriotism is waving a child's flag on the sidelines as others defend your liberty. Bush 41 and spouse are living into their nineties, the Obamas will too. You'll see them smiling at the inaugurals, your TV will tell you of their lives and that of their daughters, of their successes and their trips and the books they write and their accolades as it does with every other ex-President.
Make it easy on yourself.
Take a deep cleansing breath and just let go, make the best of your situation. He will always be the 44th President of the US and your children and their children will read of him in their history books, the first Black man elected president of the US. And when he leaves office, he will be healthier and wealthier than he is as President, and will be remembered as a person who was always willing to make sacrifices for you and your children; even though you hated him. Future generations will always love him for his uncanny ability to put with people like you and your petty bullshit. But for now, just remember that you still live in a free country made more safe and prosperous by your President, and he, the First Lady and their children will always have you in their prayers.
We don't care what color he is. We would have preferred a competent person of either sex or any race than the POS we are stuck with for two more years. Transparency? Bi-partianship? Post-racial? All that hope and change rhetoric...

How has he turned this country around? Why is teen unemployment so high if "the economy is the strongest it's ever been?" Why can't I get a minimum wage job? I've applied to at least 20 different businesses. I'm running out of places to go. Thanks to this "strong" economy, the land designed for businesses has nothing on it. There are roads going to nowhere. It's sickening how people believe these lies.
If anyone has any tips on how to get a first job in this economy, I'd love for you to PM me. It's getting rough.

I don't know how honored or respected he is right now... and I'm hardly concerned with the color of his skin when I can think of three individuals of his same color that could do a magnificently better job than he would ever be capable of... Condi Rice, Alan West, and Ben Carson.

Not sure why "black" was capitalized there... but his likeability and polling is now worse than Bush's... either we're trending that every future president will be hated more than the previous, or he's a REALLY bad president.
Let's take a look at Nixon and Carter. Are those two presidents looked upon fondly through history? Care to guess how Obama will be looked upon?

I have no idea who Tom Robinson is, but he is amusing, if not a bit delusional.
With that said... I really don't care what Obama and his family do, after his term. Any more than I care about what the other presidents and their families are doing. I don't need to lead that voyeuristic life that some people feel is necessary. (Nor do I give much of a damn about the Kardashians, but I digress.) I certainly don't wish him ill, I just wish him to be someplace else. (Along with Hillary. Okay... ya' got me.)
I certainly don't define my successes or any perceived failures by the actions of this president. On the contrary, I have succeeded and will continue to succeed with little regard for him. Dare I say, "in spite of him"?
Oh yeah. Of course he's the first Black president. Commendable. Historic. Too bad he had to fsck it up for every other black man that may run for president, after him. Some of them may have actually done a good job. (And before you "go there", Herman Cain was my first choice. If he runs again, he will likely be my first choice, again. I like what he has to say.)

I negged him for about two minutes, 'cuz he didn't mark this thread as "political", (naughty boy) but then I remembered it's not nice to pick on Skem-Farbs, because their brains just ain't wired right. high unemployment is a permanent thing. The jobs have gone overseas, and the borders do not work anymore. no democrat and no republican is EVER going to change that. and WTF do you want min wage job for? aim a little higher, son. the economy actually is fine.
not sure of your age - but, you do sound fresh to the workforce, and may not have had to experience the Bush collapse. Things are WWAAYY better than them days. Still not up to the boomin Clinton Years, but - them days are never to return. Mostly because the USA was sold out during the Clinton Years, and we were all revelling in the booty. now that it is spent - we get to stand around with out turned pockets, and shrugged shoulders.....
