I didn't read the whole thread as on my phone it's a PITA...

The thought that I want to point out here as the developing brain in a child is VERY powerful. Studies have shown that the sooner you get them to using their mind and challenge them intellectually the smarter they will be.

For example, children under 13 years of age can fairly easily learn a new language, where as adults have a much harder time to learn a new language.

My kids surprise me every day as to what they can do and the new ideas they come up with.
