So, my collection's grown pretty rapidly over the last week, and I now need to stop bringing them home because I've got more cameras than photographs right now!

The SX-70 I found on eBay proved to be pretty much junk, has all kinds of problems... such as failing to eject film, "gummy" focus and L/D wheels, the taking mirror got stuck once, and the inside of the lens is filthy. Good chance it will be back on eBay by next week.

Alas, I've already brought home its replacement, which is in FAR better shape and got it, too for a steal!

It also came with an ITT Magicflash, which I just need to clean the battery terminals on for it to work.

I also got three from a friend who was just wanting to get rid of them:

The last one is a 700 and is from the late-50s and is VERY NICE! The case included an unopened roll of film that expired in 1960, flashgun, bulbs, an exposure meter, and film coater!

Here's a few shots with the PX-70 Push, the first one with the original SX-70 (which is going to a new home come Wednesday), and the other two with the Alpha 1....

I bought this today. Its an Automatic 100. It was cool because it came with lots of accessories including a way old pack of unopened film.

Cool. I think that was their first pack film camera, and has the nice glass lens... the newer ones were plastic.

Been doing alot of shooting lately;

Cool Photos!! I have been doing a little shooting myself. But I have been using a 35mm Nikon N55 SLR. I still haven't used up a roll of film so I have no idea what the photos look like.

Oh, and TIP's new 600 film is about ready for release, they're saying the first flush editions should be out next month. The test shots I've seen are fantastic!

I am still at this; thought I'd share some of my newer stuff!

Earlier this year I picked up a 250 and converted it for AAA batteries and love it! The thing is a tank, built at the tail-end of quality American goods, and features a Zeiss Ikon rangefinder. All of the color shots, above, were taken with that using Fuji FP-100C film.

The following shots were taken with the SX-70 using various films from Impossible. I actually enlarged the first one and sold the framed print at an art show in downtown Waukegan, down the street from the photographed building!

Figured an update was in order...

Picked up a Polaroid Big Shot, finally, along with an electronic flash unit that I can use on it. All the headshots, close-ups, and the one cat picture was taken with that...

This was a bleached FP-100C negative... I've since blown it up to 12x18 and framed it and it looks awesome!

I also did some major equipment upgrades toward the end of 2014, which I'll go into when I get pictures of and from them onto Flickr...
