All of Chris' threads for past toys and things made me want to do this. Lets see what diecast collectibles some of you guys have laying or hanging around the house. I'll start....... 1/25-1/18 scale My "Bigtime Muscle" police collection......still missing the '70 GTO 1/64 scale My "Bigtime Muscle" from Ford to Pontiac 1/64 scale The one on the left is a "Foose" design (non BTM) My Hot Wheels "Home Improvement: Tool Time" Forgot to add my Hot Wheels muscle cars

I have a couple thousand Hot Wheels cars. Most are Blue Card (mainline) cars going back to early 90's. I also like to collect Johnny Lightning cars, and I have a couple thousand bucks into my collection of the Hot Wheels Classics series.
The Big Time Muscle cars have great detail, those are made by Maisto, right? Jada also makes some very nice diecast.
I have a few DeLorean diecasts around here some where (who would have guessed!) I still have them boxed so I will need to unpack them soon and take some photos.
Ive still got dozens of 1/18 scales. I did have hundreds, but sold off a lot of them on ebay. I take mine all out of boxes so they can be looked at and picked up. I hate the current generation of ones like Big Muscle and Dubbs with the big fake looking wheels. Stock looking ones are so hard to find now unless you pay $75, I just quit buying them. The best Ive got are Exoto, Hiway 61 and Pocher. The detail on all those are incredible. Ive got a Coronet like mine that even has carpet, rubber trunk mat, and a tool pouch in the trunk. The Pochers have working keyed door locks, suspension, seat belts, even down to the writing on oil filters. I have a Testa Rosa and a 911. The Porsche even has lug nuts on the wheels.

I agree on the newer ones sucking.
I have, well lets say a few 1:18 Scale cars. They are all packed up right now, and will come out when I get the shop done.
I like to keep the same size, unless it's Fiero, or Taxi related.

I wouldn't have thought that you had any mini-Deloreans sitting around.

This is why I don't buy any of the really nice ones. I'd love to have some of the muscle cars that I've run across, but I can't afford $75 a pop.
Pretty nice collection there, GM.

I've been collecting die-casts since I was about eight. It was hard a s a kid keeping cars in their packages, but I think I did a relatively good job.
Most of what I collected was racing cars. In a couple of the pics you can see some of the Nascar stuff, but that's maybe about two percent of the collection. Most of it is boxed away. I stopped collecting after Dale Earnhardt died so most of my stuff is from the 90's. I've sold a good deal of stuff, but still have enough pieces to fill numerous plastic tub boxes (there's about eight of them in storage).
Small bit of Nascar
Open wheel stuff
More Nascar. Mostly tobacco and alcohol sponsor cars
I've never really been into Hot Wheels. I'm really picky on them and only buy the ones that look like real cars. Here's some I picked up recently
AE86s
Initial D - my favorite pieces
------------------ 1988 Fiero Formula - Mostly stock. Poly all around. Weee....
The least they could do is supply stock wheels and tires with them. Id gladly pay an extra $5 to be able to throw away the ghetto wheels. Too bad stores only sell 1/25 scale aftermarket wheels and not 1/18.
Mostly what Ive kept are models of real cars Ive owned. Ive just about got every one I ever had.
Here's most of my 1/18 (and a few 1:25 at the bottom left) scale models set up around my entertainment center.
Is that a red Pagani Zonda I see on the left second shelf from the bottom? I want that red Lamoborginin Countach on the right. My favorite an to me the best Lambo ever made.
Nice setup adam. Very much like my 1:18th scale display, though I think the only car we share is the S7
I have (1/18):
Lamborghini Gallardo Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera McLaren F1 McLaren F1 LM DeLorean DMC-12 DeLorean DMC-12 (Gold) DeLorean DMC-12 (BTTF II Time Machine) Chevrolet Corvette C6 TVR Sagaris Aston Martin DB7 Aston Martin DB9 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Aston Martin Vanquish Aston Martin Vanquish (James Bond Version) Ferrari F430 Saleen S7 and various antique cars (Ford Model A and Pontiac Coupe to name a couple)
Next on the to buy list: Maserati GranTurismo Audi R8 Petter Solberg's Championship Rally Subaru STi
PS. There is no Fiero on that list because I tried to paint mine with some left over touch up paint from my first Fiero....didnt go so well ------------------

I started collecting 1:18 scale cars from movies. mostly F&F but i have some Bond Cars, a Dazed & Confused car and a few others. total 15-20. sorry no pics they haven't made it out of storage since i moved.
Speaking of movie cars.......does anyone have either the "Wraith" or maybe the "Road Warrior" car? I have the "Road Warrior" model that I bought from a hobby store, but haven't put it together yet. I guess it shouldn't be included in this thread since it's a plastic model.
Aoshima makes a 1/18th diecast of the Road Warrior V8 Interceptor but it is pricey and you will likely have to import it. Try www.HLJ.com (Hobby Link Japan).
mostly hotwheels, yeah I open them (I know big no no), the ones with hoods up are mostly Ertl
I'm a bit of a Dukes fan
Have a blue 72 Skylark I always want to sand off one of these 1:18 scale diecast and paint it like mine, but havent had the heart to do it yet. I did do it to a hotwheels, see the last link, turned out ok, I probably shouldn't have tried to do the window chrome edge.
2.5.....great job on that Hotwheels redo. I think the window trim turned out good.....car looks great. I've thought about doing some of my cars as well, but just don't have the.....ummm.....time.....ya, thats it.
Roger, Hobby Town sells 1:18 scale wheels. I've also found some online. The variety is getting better. If I can find some links, I'll send them to you.
I've got a few (under a hundred) Hot Wheels, Johnny Lightning, and Matchbox cars. Have a handful of 1:18 cars. Only a few of any of them are still in boxes. I like to pick them up and look at them, too.
------------------ Raydar 88 4.9 Formula IMSA Fasback..........................88 3.4 coupe -soon to be something other than red Read Nealz Nuze!Praise the Lowered!
Yep, that's a Zonda. Also of note is the Lamborghini Miura on the bottom right, and a Cadillac Cien concept car on the top right. I have a 1:18 Fiero in silver as well. I'm going to get another one and repaint it like my car one of these days.
Thanks for the kind words.

when i get home, ill post up what me and my dad have. hes got about 20 cases of 1:18 models, ive got 4 cases and 2 HUGE boxes of hot wheels under my bed.
The school that my wife works at is building a new one, so all of the shelves and stuff that are in each room will be for sale or will go dirrectly in the trash. I may end up with some shelves to put all of my cars on it, but it may be next year or so before I get my hands on one.
Someone commented about mine still being in the boxes.........thats because I don't have a place to put them.

I took real good care of mine as a kid ( early 70s ), but when we moved from florida to indiana the box of all my cars ( and 12" GI Joes ) got left behind. I bet worth a fortune now.
Here are a few i have now: ( i think i have posted them before. if so, sorry )
This one even has working roll up windows and differential. Anyone got some extra mirrors? : And my favorite:
Can you tell i'm a chrysler fan? ( or at least was.. )
My first car was a 68 Roadrunner. Never have been able to find a first generation sebring model.
My friend has a '70 RR waiting to be restored and has a '74 RR that he plays with at the track now and then. I've driven the '74 once. All I can say is........
He's an all Mopar guy too and has a few sitting around.....2 Ram Chargers (both 4x4), Pacifica, Neon, short wheel base Ram 4x4, and a '88 Shelby Z.
