Getting a title for a title-free vehicle can be very time consuming and potentially quite expensive, depending on where you live. And with a car that's been sitting that long, getting that engine to run will take a lot of work, and potentially be quite expensive. That being said, if you want to swap the engine or (barf) build a kit car out of it, you can't really get a much better candidate. If I were in the market for a major project I'd definitely give this one a look.

Why does it have "Pace Car" stickers on the door of an 87? Can the owner post some pictures of the underside, trunk, inside, etc?

Also the VIN would be helpful to know any history... I remember a low mileage car floating around here that was donated to a school by GM and could never be titled... Hopefully not the same car...
