Hi Nolan,
Yes the shifter trim attaches with double sided tape. I wish I could have done it a better way, but there are no mounting holes on the factory trim piece.

I would be happy to take pics of the install afterward. If you could make that size of a trim piece all people would need would be to move the little relay back there which is only a 20 second job.

Yes I can make it to your dimensions. You would need to provide me with the width and height of the hole and the distance of the hole from the the sides, bottom, and A/C hole. As a new template is required to make a new trim piece, I will have to charge you an extra $20 which is only half what It will cost me. Is that the only trim piece you need? Did you still want a set of the gauges? Tom

Hi Tom....just happened to run across this thread.
I have the full set on my 85 and 86 GT and I love the look!
They really go good with my Speedhut white-faced gauges!

Anyways, moving right along I sent you a bunch of pics of my install a long time ago. (especially my silver 85 GT)
Why dont you post a few here for evryone to see? (if you still have them)

Thanks, Kit

Sorry for the shameless self promoting but Tom (and viewers) I have to say that I have had nothing but praise on the look of the interior since I put these in. In fact my wife "fessed up" and said "those are 110% better than the wierd blue ricer thing you had going.."

So in other words... Thanks again!!!!

This is an awesome setup. I only need the main dash trim, ac/stereo trip and shifter trim for an Automatic (I run a 3 gauge pod setup from Autometer in place of the battery voltage and oil pressure). Can you leave the shifter surround blank without the 5spd info? Can I send money via Paypal? I would like to get this in the next week or so. Let me know and I appreciate it.

Thanks,
Amir

Tom,
PM sent another question. Can / could you make a Main Dash that did away with the tripometer reset hole and had cutouts for the two warning indicator columns? I know is ask a lot of questions.

Mike,
Since you have the digital gauge kit there shouldn't be a hole for the tripometer on the trim panel as it was removed for the install, correct?
As for the cutouts for the indicators, it could be done but a new template would need to be made to do that so it would cost a bit.

The gauges are actually silver and they were made by Speedhut a few years ago.
Glad you like them.
I'm excited about where I want to take the interior and the trim kit is perfect!

Sorry if this is in the thread somewhere.
Can you make a set (all pieces) but have the ashtray areas solid. Don't smoke and don't care if they are there.

Yes I can have a custom piece made for you without the ashtray areas cutout. So you need all 4 pieces correct?
Would you like to order the set now?

Thanks,
Tom
