Downloaded this version but my McAfee deletes it as soon as I try to run it. McAfee reported a Trojan virus class. Saw another thread that some-else was having the same issue with this version.
The old version runs on my Win10 machine but it doesn't recognize USB as serial ports.
Has anyone had success with this version 1.110a?

"old version"? You mean winaldl_109f ?

The old laptop I use runs XP (yes, it's very old!), but I seem to recall needing to mess about with the USB configuration settings to get the laptop to recognize the USB version of the cable (after having had used a serial port version of the cable previously).
