In the 2nd thread there's a link to Cooter's project with an electric pump and Dakota power steering rack. I own that car now and the power rack was not functional when I bought it, nor is it now. Cooter said it wasn't really a benefit after all and suggested going back to the Fiero rack. He had problems with the racks failing I believe. To me it feels stock as is in non functioning condition. Cowan's-something was the inspiration for this swap and can be followed in that thread as well, I believe.

I can't tell anyone anything about this swap as I had nothing to do with it, never used it and have never investigated it. I respect Cooter's opinion of the swap and haven't planned on pursuing utilizing it.
